We were pleasantly surprised to find how well located we were but still in a quiet location on our recent visit to Napier. It was an easy walk to the restaurants, shops and beach. The supermarket was close and the bus terminal was just across the park. It was cold when we were there but our room faced west and... More

We couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We arrived out of office hours and this was never a problem for them. Rooms were of a high standard and very clean and quiet. The Quest is well located within walking distance to shops and beach. It was a short overnight stay for us but couldn't fault the room or... More

Never been to Napier so decided I should! What a lovely little town! The Quest is very well located for all the shops and banks etc and just a block or two away from the beach. The apartments are a god send if you have washing to do and powder is kindly supplied. We had a well sized balcony to... More

We stayed for two very comfortable nights in the Quest Napier. It was lovely to have a mini-kitchen with dishwasher and hot plates, although we didn't have occasion to use either! The room was large, warm, light and airy, with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. It was a short walk to the shops, and two supermarkets were a very... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. Lovely renovated building with lift access to all floors. Location is good just on outskirts of shopping area yet everything is close and within walking distance. Comfortable studio apartment, laundry downstairs and clothes airers available to take to room. Wifi free with logon from reception. Friendly staff. Papers available in downstairs library/lounge with the added... More

I was here for 3 nights on business and had a very nice experience. The apartment has everything you need for self-catering, the location is great and the owners and staff are lovely. To park securely it costs an extra $12 a day. It isn't expensive to park on the street in Napier but its very annoying to have to... More

A very nice apartment that had all the basic facilities such as, a mini stove, fridge, mini pantry, TV with digital (could have been bigger) and a desk. I stayed here overnight to watch the All Blacks (rugby team) play at McLean Park (15min) walk from the apartment. I was in a twin share room. The only real negative was... More

My husband and I recently traveled all over New Zealand and one of the highlights was an overnight at the Quest Hotel in Napier. This hotel is head and shoulders above most of the accommodation our travel agent booked for us. I think originally the hotel was an old bank building made of stone and very solid. From the outside... More

We had a wonderful long weekend away at the Quest, where we stayed in a studio room. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were professional and the service was to a high standard. I would highly recommend staying here. The secure parking is a great idea and we were able to lock our bikes down there too.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is close to everything in Napier. The host Clinton was always very helpful and obliging. We recommend booking a car park early because the car park in the basement is small and can run out of spaces. Otherwise you can park in the council car park next door for $4 a day.... More
