Arrived at reception to not even get a hello how is your day from Jo. Parking here is a nightmare having to either pay for someone to park and drive your own car (which we didn't trust) or walk over to Skycity. Breakfast was average actually gross. Rooms outdated. Never again

I stayed on business over two weekends in May 2015. Rooms are compact but clean and the decor new-ish. The bathroom is very compact but usable. The beds are very clean, crisp and comfortable. The TV is a tiny wall-mounted 17 inch screen, you'll have to go to the bar if you want to watch the game. Parking is $20... More

Next to the river and within walking distance to most of the action(casino and the pick of the restaurants). Staff were friendly and helpful, parking was $20 a night, valet parked. Room was clean if basic, but the staff will do whatever they can to make you comfortable. We scored a corner room on the top floor so the views... More

Stopped only 1 night while on business. Location very handy to CBD and beside river. Rooms good, clean and all that is required for an overnight. Service at front desk, bar and restaurant good also. Appreciated car parking valet service.

Stayed for a night. Like all Ibis hotels small room but clean and functional. Paid extra for a river facing room but not worth it. Very well located in the center of town adjacent to Novotel. Lots of restaurants on the main street. Breakfast spread at the hotel was surprisingly good and exceeded expectations. The only downside was that got... More

Good stay for 2 nights. Made Hamilton our base for trips to Hobbiton and Rotorua region. Good bed and bathroom amenities. Only problem was no car parking on site. We had to park on street....it's free all night when parking after 6pm and leaving before 8am. Can park in Casino behind the Novotel for a price. Wifi is not free... More

The hotel was nothing flashy, but was still pleasant to stay in. The bed was a huge plus! It was HUGE and really comfy, so that was a real positive. The room was reasonably sized and functional, with places to hang your clothes, put your bags and still relax in the left over space. The bathroom was small, but had... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our 20 day trip around NZ. Could not fault one of the previous hotels we stayed at and assumed this would be the same.. I was very wrong. Beds are very hard. Stayed in room 681 which was so noisy. Had to call reception and ask for ear plugs. Sounded like... More
