I stayed here for 6 days. People at reception were not helpful at all. To top it off, I left my glasses in my room and the bench and I called asking for them to get my glasses so I could come back and they didn’t want to help me or even check for my glasses! I won’t be staying here again.

Opened the door to smoke smell in room, curtins ripped, mold stains on the floor, kitchen cupboards not closing, fat dip from the range hood, bathroom door not closing due to swelling rotten door. Cracks in the shower wall taped up. Oven door handle broken, Stains on pillow cases lack of heating. This place is full of winz people with kids everywhere. You can hear up stairs walking and flushing the toilet. I travel alot and this is the worst rundown outdated motel ive been to. Dont waste your cash on this place! Long story short Checked out and found something worth paying for.

I suggest that you give this motel a miss. I had the misfortune of spending a couple of nights here. This motel appears to have been taken over by Government sponsored homeless people. Expect cars coming and going all night, loud and rude residents that keep you awake all night and poor house keeping. The room was quite well equiped but on using the kitchen we found dirty kitchen utensils and plates that were put away wet, needless to say, we had to wash all utensils and plates before use. I even had another guest wander into my room obviously under the infuence of an unknown substance. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Our studio unit was clean, comfortable and spacious, but what I would term a "no frills motel." As we were out for a fair part of the time we were in Hamilton, this didn't matter. However, the office was closed most of the time, and if we needed anything we were advised to ring a mobile number ! We got around this extra expense by leaving notes for the staff who serviced the unit. Anything we needed was provided. We won't be staying here again, though, as we were advised upon checking out that the motel was no longer part of the Host Accommodation Chain which we prefer to patronise. I wasn't told this at the time of booking, but the owner did give us a discount of $5 per night, in good faith.

This motel is basic but was clean and tidy EXCEPT for the towels . They were old and worn . Motelier was helpful and very obliging when we asked for directions and ice . It was booked for us on line by family . Not sure I would've booked it though.

We booked through internet and it seemed to be the last room available around town - at least 4 people were told they were full while we were outside. The room was fine except for a ceiling fan that wobbled around if not at full speed. There was a few caps from the shampoo etc left in the shower so cleaning people may be a bit careless. Otherwise it seemed to be clean enough. There was only one cereal plate although room was set up for at least three people. Motelier was very obliging and helpful - was apologetic about the plate and suggested it may have been due to a group staying that had several rooms and they tended to meet in different rooms where maybe plates were carried around. Still should have been sorted by cleaning staff and he was going to talk to them. Overall pretty average but okay for a night or two

We arrived at this motel not long before 11pm and the motelier was welcoming. He explained the fan heater on the wall in our room was not working and he had put a radiant bar heater in our room for us. Arriving at our room we were very disappointed, it was very tired, with threadbare carpet that rustled when we walked, like it had a layer of plastic underneath. The heater was a tall bar heater, and it heated the room while we were in the living room, but we had to turn it off to go to bed. Our daughter refused to sleep in the second bedroom, as it had no windows, just a skylight that had leakage problems judging by the strange brown streaks coming down the inside of it. We spent an uncomfortable cold night in the firm beds and got up early to go down to the office and request a refund for our second night we had booked. The motelier did not argue with us, he refunded our money for the second night with no problems. I wouldn't recommend this motel, it is very unloved and in need of an overhaul, and it cost more than the motel we found for our second night - and that motel was beautiful!

The main motel has low cast persons staying, alcolhol, kids running arround.etc. I think they are taking in homeless persons, Then sent to Alpha. No parking, expensive, no movie channels. Awful The curtains that thin that the outside lights shine into the room so you cannot sleep. No sharp knifes, large spoons, masher etc in the kitchen. No hot plates.

Stay away people. This motor Inn is constantly visited by the police. Loud disrespectful people with drinking smoking swearing all hours of the day and night. The inn is presently getting a face lift and looks like it will be quite nice proximity to the CBD is within walking distance as is the Rugby stadium. It is just a shame about the clientele
