Booked online via their own website a couple of weeks in advance. It was a Weekend Spa deal for $130 for the night. When I arrived, I was charged $140 and the room didn't have a Spa bath. Wasn't what I booked and was more expensive. Not happy.

We didn't receive a warm welcome, the reception chap asked us to pay up-front because people ran off without paying in Hamilton & had stolen TV sets in the past... not sure I had room in my luggage, or the desire to ship back a tv to the UK.... On the plus side: The room was spacious The blackout curtains... More

I stayed here for one night with my 8 month old baby. Even though the room was upstairs and I had to carry everything up, the room was clean and tidy. Was very warm in the bedroom which meant we had to sleep with the window open and there was a lot of road noise. Other than that reception was... More

Hi Unfortunately Angelsea let itself down with small things: 1. Door locks falling out of bathroom doors - no way of closing it properly or locking it 2. Window lock on balcony slide window not capable of being locked - no sense of security 3. No soap or shampoo in the machines in the shower 4. The shampoo for the... More

Went to Hamilton for an event at the Waikato Stadium (Easy walk Very close by) Unit 32 was very tidy and well kept. Bed comfortable and the air conditioning unit was brilliant as it was mid summer. Nice and quiet even with folk walking past after the event. People at the front desk great! Well recommended. Countdown right across the... More

We stayed in the unit across the road above an accounting firm. We weren't offered the wi-fi password and received a single carton of milk for 6 people. Be aware you are unable to leave your car outside your unit - it must be parked in the main complex back across the road, apparently it's "safer" there. There is no... More

We booked 3 bedroom unit for6 people. On checking in we were directed to unit across road behind Solicitors office. No parking there during business hours. Ground floor was concrete. Upstairs was dirty, holes punched in walls. refrigerator stank badly...rotten prawn smell. We immediately gave keys back, obtained refund of rent and found alternate accommodation close by. Very disappointing!!

I have stayed here often solo on business, for leisure with my wife and twice as part of a 16 man golf trip and have never been disappointed. My most recent visit was 7th November 2014 on business. The location is great, plenty of free parking and just a 10 minute walk to the CBD for shopping, dining and the... More
