First impression from the outside I knew instantly I was not going to enjoy my stay, inside the décor and carpets only reinforce my view! What drew me to this accommodation was the "extra large spa pool" and it did not disappoint. We were a family of 6 including 4 children and booked the family room which had 2 separate... More

Friendly enough owners but wouldnt stay here again. Shower was mouldy, didnt have proper toilet paper, main bed was rock hard and from the 1970's, jug was broken & rusting inside of it. Very uncomfortable sleep not at all what we expected

Free wifi, full kitchen, separate bedroom, clean, convenient, seniors rate and $85 a night. What more could we want! Not flash, but friendly service and we were told we could pay when we left - how many motel owners would trust their guests so much? Highly recommended.

Did not really meet expectations created by web advertising. The service was fine, but the room and buildings are not really up to much. The are dated and not particularly clean. Things in the room were mixed in terms of what worked and what didn't. We were not greatly impressed and would not go back. As for price it was... More

Just came back from a trip to Hamilton staying overnight at Cedar Lodge Motel. What a big difference from the other place across the road which charged us $100 for just the two of us. We thought to try a different place and decided on Cedar Lodge Motel. We were not disappointed. Value for money, fresh clean linens, spacious, full... More

Quite an old motel but very spacious unit. Plenty cutlery and crockery for our group. Great to be able to cook dinner every nite in our unit. Unit could do with a make over as curtains rather dated. Didnt try spacious spa. Parking outside unit was great.

Over priced, dirty, dated and smelly. No exaggeration. Our room was plain nasty. Was so disgusted by the state of it, we took the loss of money, ($110) and stayed across the road. Thankfully we had only booked for one night. Definately not recommended.

Our third visit in recent years and last weeks was the best yet. In our `eighties` we think it is commendable and correspondent jamben1 is a nut-case.Arrigato.

I have stayed in for a couple of days there. It just was a classic motel you would often encounter throughout nz but there was a large spa I've enjoyed, and the staff was friendly. The room I stayed was one of the most spacious ones I have ever stayed in my life. Best of all, price was right!
