We had the pleasure of staying two nights in room no 14 and can honestly say it was the best room we have stayed in so far in North Island. The situation re access to the town and beach are both within ten minutes walk of the motel. The room was situated on the first floor and was in excellent... More

Truly a home away from home. Location is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and the river provides an opportunity for a leisurely stroll or to sit and watch rowing. Room and facilities were very clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will return again and definitely recommend this to others.

Only stayed for one night and the weather was awful but the owners were excellent. We had electric blankets in the room. The room was clean and well equipped and the wifi quick. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a restful night stay.

This place is dead easy to find when entering Gisborne from any direction. It sits neatly on the river and within easy walking distance of the city centre and all the attractions the city has to offer. The motel is scrupulously clean and the staff wonderfully friendly, even to the point of offering a room upgrade without having to ask.... More

Quiet place to stay within easy walking to restaurants & river walkway. Very Clean room & bathroom, well laid out & good Wifi. Good laundry facilities that were easy to use. Very helpful with information on medical facilities due to needing to see a doctor.

This is a good place for a two night stay - the studio room was large, clean and well equipped. The only downside was the very poor water pressure and tepid water in the shower on the second night. The motel is close to the city centre (two blocks) and overlooks the harbour. Wifi is reliable and free (good limit... More

This motel has been our place to stay during our work visits. We have been well looked after by the hosts, and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. We have stayed in almost every type of room and all have been spacious. Breakfast is excellent. Great location..close to Ussco bar and cafe for a great meal. Enjoyed walking along... More

Stayed here 2 nights. This is a two level motel so if you can't do stairs then request lower floor. Didn't worry us though. What did concern us was; Grrr...there was no luggage rack (not even a fold out one). There was no hand towel in bathroom (I like to take this to use in the kitchen as I'm not... More

My husband and I stayed one night in September and found it to be clean, comfortable and within walking distance to the local hotel where we had dinner. The studio room was a good size, nice kitchenette, comfortable bed with a nice view of the harbour from the balcony. We were on the first floor, and I did appreciate being... More

Stayed one night at Pacific Harbour and would thoroughly recommend it. Had a very spacious suite on the second floor overlooking the port. Beautiful sunny rooms, enormous bedroom, comfortable king sized bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely balcony area. Would love to have stayed longer so planning a summer break of more than one night, definitely at Pacific Harbour.
