We stayed here with our two daughters (6&7) and had a family apartment for three nights. There were two bedrooms upstairs (one with twin beds, one with a double bed) with a shared ensuite between them and there was a kitchenette downstairs (kettle, hob, microwave, fridge and all utensils) with a dining/lounge room and another bathroom (shower over bath etc)... more

We booked via the hotel's website, a 'response' email arrangement which worked well - they responded instantly to our enquiry, and we were expected when we arrived. This lodge / Hotel is a great place to stay. It has a central city location while staying out of the smoggy centre of the city. It is across the street the Auckland Domain and walking distance to Parnell (20 mins) and Newmarket (10mins).
