Sunderland House is a true oasis with everything you could wish for, including a very kind and attentive host in Donald, who was kindness itself to this lone traveller. The breakfasts are particularly special, with fruit, yoghurt, cold ham and cheese and pastries, although Donald will cook you breakfast if required. There is a lovely little garden with hammock etc... more

We stayed two nights in this elegant replica Victorian villa and wished we could have stayed longer. Having run our own Qualmark 5 star B&B previously makes us very fussy guests, but Sunderland House did not disappoint.
