At first i was a little hesitant to stay at Quest with all the mixed reviews however I am so glad I decided to stick to the plan. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The apartment was kept clean almost everyday and the staff were able to attend to our needs promptly when needed. Many reviewers mentioned too much... More

This was a great place to stay in the day but unfortunately they nightlife keeps you awake till 4 am. The do provide earplugs, so they do sympathise. we were on the 8th floor. I was so tired the noise didn't bother me but my husband couldn't sleep.

Access:- easy to see and near public transport as we used the shuttle bus from the airport and stopped within 100 metres or so of the hotel Entrance:- small and narrow, with the actual reception down the corridor and no more than 2 people can fit in the tiny room. Widening it could make it more accessible. Room:- ours was... More

Great room, 13D, with view of both Queen Street and the waterfront. There was no street noise but earplugs were provided in case of. Washing machine and dryer came in handy as we had just come from 5 days camping. The bed was very comfortable and the lounge area very roomy. The balcony was great also.

The concierge was not in attendance when I arrived. I pressed the buzzer for attendance as did another couple and no response. After 10 mins of waiting we called the other quest apartments on Queen as we thought perhaps we were at the wrong location. After 15 mins and some surprise from the other Quest that the girl was not... More

Stayed here for one night to attend AC/DC concert and was impressed with the central location. Handy to Britomart and waterfront - good sized balcony was great for people watching! Rooms have good facilities and the fold out sofa bed was comfy and nicely made. Would stay again and happy to recommend.

I stayed here for 1 night and got a nice appartment with extensive facilities e.g. Washing machine, dryer, balcony). It was quite expensive for 1 person, but it was worth it! Staff was nice and the free wifi worked great! Also, the location was good: right in the city center.

Stayed here for a week over the Christmas period. Was a bit concerned about some of the reviews but I'm glad I chose to ignore them... The hotel was brilliant. Really clean and good sized rooms with a balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Some of the other reviews mention noise at night but we... More

This hotel is run down, offers poor and erratic service. Mattresses are old and uncomfortable, carpeting is dirty, kitchen equipment is inadequate. Hotel reception closes early (around 4:30 pm) for anyone arriving in the evening. While I was there, the lift stopped working and had to walk up and down 14 floors four different times. As I stayed in two... More

Good place to stay. Excellent downtown location near to waterfront. Great cafes and restaurants nearby. Accommodation was comfy, had everything you need. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have a problem with noise, we were on the top floor - level 16 - maybe that helps with being away from nearby noise source. Bed on the soft side... More
