We stayed twice at the Quest, for five nights followed by a shorter stay of two nights in another room a short time later. We had a one bedroom apartment each time. We are originally from Auckland (now living O/S) and were back visiting family - so thought we would have a few days in Ponsonby (our old haunt) hanging out with friends on the long weekend before staying with family....So Quest seemed to fit the bill- I still had a car in NZ so I my mom picked us up from... more

Used ---.com around a week before arriving, got a $125 AU rate. Location is near K Road across from a small park. Pros: The Link bus stops are about a block away. $10 for an all day pass for their loop or $1.50 for each ride. A one bedroom with a small living room and dining room and clean kitchenette.... more
