Tiny rooms... Haven't had one this small since I was in Japan. Bathroom is tiny too. Also... Have to crouch down to get my hair wet in the shower (I'm 5'10") The most annoying part is that the picture on the website was of a much larger room! Can't complain too much though, it's a good locational for a fairly... More

Ok, I've traveled all over the world and when you book a room in a hotel that says it's a small room, you expect a small room. Their standard room isn't even big enough to hold suitcases and carry-on for two people safely. If there is an emergency, you would be tripping over your luggage to try and save yourself.... More

Eco no lodge is exactly what you expect . Cheap prices and a basic room . Rooms are small but comfortable beds. Shower isn't of the best standard but I was hardly expecting luxury . Wifi was shaky . Staff friendly and the breakfast buffet in the morning was great . Although you have to pay for the breakfast ,... More

Ive stayed in a lot of hotels and hostels and this has to be the smallest room I've ever stayed in. As soon as we walked in we had to push the bed right up against the wall just to be able to get both suitcases in the room. Don't stay here if you actually plan to unpack anything. The... More

This hotel is in a great location. Close to Queen Street & Sky City. Many eateries are at your door step. Just around the corner is 'The Stables' this has many different restaurants all in the one building and the food is great. Our room was small but was clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff are very friendly... More

Very friendly staff, with the exception of 1 gentleman. Econo provided you with the bear essentials which was great as you are in a perfect location, everything else you require is just outside your door step. Great value for money. I will diffinately be recommending this property to as much people as I can. I know i will diffinately be... More

If you need to be near the sky tower/central city and only care about a place to crash then stay here. The room is tiny and dated, the bathroom a bit scuzzy and the shower not good but at $89 a night you cant expect too much. Had an event to attend at sky city theater so for one night... More

Central location and friendly staff. Hotel is cheap and clean but old, dated with small rooms. Views look over neighbouring industrial and commercial buildings. My room was tiny with hardly enough room to lay open my suitcase on the floor. I almost froze on my first night and got up to layer on some extra clothing. On day 2 I... More

Man, last time I was in a room this tiny, it was in Hokkaido back in 1988. And old... But as a last minute decision to stay the night in Auckland, it was what I needed. An inexpensive place to crash in the middle of the city without having to stay in backpacker's hostel. All my regular hotels were booked,... More
