This hotel was situated conveniently near to Auckland harbour. When we arrived in Auckland from our cruise we didn't have far to walk from the ship to the hotel. Next time we visit we will catch a taxi as it is up hill! The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean and comfortable; since we hadn't come to... More

We stayed here for one night only to attend a concert at the Aotea Centre. THe hotel is ideal for anyone looking for clean comfortable accommodation in the central city. We walked everywhere - shopping in Queen Street and environs - to the Skycity Casino and to the concert - so handy. Rooms basic and small but perfectly acceptable. Staff... More

We arrived here the day before our New Zealand/Australia cruise. We were dropped off at the hotel. There were about 10 steps to entrance. The hotel does not have any porters, so we had to struggle to get all of our luggage up the steps. there was no wheelchair ramp either. Our room was okay, no problems. Chose this hotel... More

We enjoyed our brief one night stay there. Perfect if all you want is a place to sleep whilst you are out enjoying a concert at either Aotea Square or Vector Arena. It is basic but all you need to a quick nap between doing things. I recommend this place.

Poor attitude from Front Desk staff. They do not smile at any of the guests and all standard greetings are robotic and insincere. They don't bother to help you put away your luggage in the luggage room either, should you need to leave it with them. They just give you the keys to the room and you place your luggage... More

Before I start, I should aff a proviso to this. I was on a Business Trip, this wasn't the usual standard of hotel I would stay in (I usually would stay in a mid range like Rydges) but it was the time of the Cricket World Cup Semifinal so accommodation in the city was hard to get, I started with... I was fortunate to have got a room in the Central Auckland City. The location is the best & right in the heart of the City and if you just want somewhere to sleep and not at all fussy this will do. The room is the smallest room I have ever stayed in, the bed was very soft and I... More

We booked a standard double room for 6 nights in total. The reception didn't have our booking to start with but managed to find us luckily and so we checked in and went up to our room. The room was very cramped, possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, even if there was a single bed in... More
