Strangely, Duders Homestead did not come up in our search for accommodation in Devonport, but thanks to a referral, we found out that the centrally located Victorian house was available for our stay. We found the Duder Homestead on the internet and liked it from the look of the website. When we arrived in Auckland we planned to stay there a week or so, then look for a long stay apartment.
