Stayed here twice in less than two weeks as i made the mistake of buying two nights at once. The first time i was on the 1st floor and to say it was a small dark cell was an understatement! The second time I had to pay an extra $50 to get an upgrade to the 7th floor which was... More

This hotel had the most uncomfortable bed I have encountered in years of travel. It was hard and lumpy. The traffic noise was dreadful. We got very little sleep. The check in procedure was painfully slow and you are made to feel like a criminal. They wanted a photocopy of a credit card and drivers license. Very expensive and poor... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, close to Britomart restaurants, the wharf, skytower etc. The windows and balcony in our room overlooked a construction site. No mini bar. No room service or in-house restaurant. Parking is an additional $30 a day. Room was clean though style was a bit drab and outdated.... More

I'll stick to the facts. Bathroom was tiny and water just went everywhere during a shower creating a wet and soggy bathroom. Bathroom had one of those shower curtains that sticks to you all the time and given how small the bath/shower was – there was nothing you could do. Sink only drained when you flushed the toilet. All corners... More

We stayed here for 3 nights 2 nights before we started our driving trip and then last night before we caught the plane back home. The first night we checked in we had a terrible time trying to find the hotel entrance, it was raining and the nav man was trying to direct us there, but the roads around the... More

Had to wait an hour and a half before we could check in - room not ready "we are busy" !! One night stay included breakfast - restaurant is closed so you have to have breakfast in room , then get charged extra for using room service?? Room was basically clean but very 'tired'

Friendly and professional staff. Clean room well priced. Superb location Can walk anywhere of note. Had to pay for parking but that's to be expected in CBD. Little balcony off room to watch Hobson St going ons. May be noisey on busy city nights but not when we were there.

We paid the full price for a night in this hotel, that was a mistake. While the pictures look good its one of those hotels that shares its facilities with private apartments dwellers and I think the rooms might even be owned by private owners given the state of them. The apartment we had (1306) had wonderful views and was... More
