We were given a tiny room (probably because we didn't book on the hotel's website) and found the hotel meets basic needs however it is dated and would be nicer with a renovation. The hotel charges $30 per night for parking (remember to request this at time of booking) and the hotel is located a short walk from the city... More

Booked this hotel through an online hotel booking service (also booked sister hotel at airport the same way). Overall, a little disappointing - small bedroom, very small lounge/kitchen area - no sofa in room as indicated in promotional material - just a single tub chair which is a little useless when traveling with another person. Good sized bathroom but be... More

We booked a studio room for around $140 per night for two nights over a weekend. Rooms were a bit dated and could use a refurbishment but were clean, tidy and lounge/room was spacious for a studio. There was almost a full kitchen (bar an oven) which I found above what you'd normally expect from a hotel studio. I found... More

I understand this hotel is rated 3.5 stars and that seems about right. I was in room 203 which was a good-sized apartment style room with full kitchen ( 2 hotplates, microwave, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery). The bedroom could be closed off from the main living area with a sliding divider. There was plenty of storage, a small deck with... More

Staff were helpful, having to deal with a bunch of very weary people who had been put up in this hotel by Fiji Airways because of a cancelled flight. They even provided a buffet dinner - of unremarkable quality. Unfortunately, the room I was in had a window open (behind closed curtains I found out at 2am) and there was... More

Definitely not the kind of place that you want to be spending any great deal of time in. As our first night in New Zealand, we were not familiar with the one way streets, so found it difficult to even get to the hotel which is placed on the corner of a one way street. One for the Sat-Nav of... More

Will not stay here again. My room overlooked the marina but there was so much road noise I didn't sleep well. There is no hotel restaurant or hotel bar so you have no option other than to go out for dinner. It's location is on the edge of the city so unlike other hotels you're not right in the middle... This hotel was great for location as we had come for a show down by Silo Park (harbour) and walking distance to town etc. Luckily we had purchased through 'grab-one' but still needed to pay for parking and breakfast so cost wise was getting a little higher than needed. Parking can be found cheaper elsewhere (but at a bit of... More

Arriving in Auckland I found the hotel fairly easily. It was a little bit further away than I was expecting but not a major issue. The service at the reception desk was very good and also very helpful. Arriving at my room I found it clean and comfortable. The bathroom could do with some work to it but again it... More

Positives first...its location. You can walk down to the Harbour very easily from this Hotel but that's about the only positive. Pay for everything! Parking, WiFi and view. How it can class itself as a 4 star hotel is beyond me. The furniture in the rooms is old and in need of replacing. The tiles in the kitchen where cracked... More
