Title says it all. Great location close to everything, but rooms are tired and dirty. Elevators take forever, and no wifi in the room. I'm never heard of that before. Quick overnight stay and for the price I can't complain too much.

We arrived at around 3:40pm after our flight was delayed, after almost 30 hours on the plane. We took the AirBus service (cost: NZD 16 / person), which took us right to the Ferry Terminal, which is one block (about 5 minutes) walk from the hotel. This is a standard Mercure property, but now shows its age, as it must... More

I stayed here because it was near the ferry terminal and the revived bus station but it was a poor choice. There was a long wait at reception and then I was given a room that was already occupied much to the surprise of the occupant when my key card worked in his door. The reception staff were unapologetic, and... More

Nice room with view of sky tower. Clean room, toiletries, charges for wifi & 30 mins free in reception area. Breakfast was very good, but very crowded in the tight area where all the food is kept. Having said that the views while eating breakfast were amazing. We also had dinner here & it was delicious. I want to say... More

I spent three nights here as part of a four week trip through New Zealand and Australia, and of the 11 hotels I stayed at on the trip, I'd rank this one at the bottom. It is a passable place to spend the night but no better than mediocre overall; it barely earns an average rating. I found the bedding... More

Good location if business is in Central City. Staff pleasant, only drawback problems with the door swipe cards requiring on going trips in the elevator between reception and accommodation floor to gain access to my room

Why does Accor continue to be so mean with their internet policy. Cafes across the road from this hotel offer free wifi with the purchase of a coffee. Mecure is about 20mins once per day unless you pay the premium internet fee. This is a sting everytime I stay at Accor in Australia and NZ.

Stayed here two nights in a two double beds harbour view room - room 920. The location is great being only a couple of minutes walk from the railway station and only a block from the ferry terminal. The view of the harbour between other buildings was pretty good. We had a drink in the top floor bar during Happy... More
