Dirty sheets, uncomfortable bed, dirty kitchen, noisy and staff unfriendly. There is not much more I say. Staying here made me cancel booking with other Base backpackers. The only good thing is Base Auckland is in the centre of city. more

This was by far and away the worse place I've stayed during two months of travelling. Excellent location, right in the middle of the city, and good value if you get a good room. Certainly, I had no complaint. The property has a large clean and tidy communal kitchen, clean bathrooms and lots of facilities. For entertanment there are TV rooms and an internet cafe.
