I had a private room with bath in the hotel (more expensive) part of the hostel. It was all very basic, but clean and quiet. The hotel decorator must be into prison grey because pretty much the entire place is painted in pale slate grey. Not exactly cheerful. Mess-hall atmosphere for the breakfast hall. This is a great 'posh' hostel. We had a double room with the best shower I've ever had in a hotel. Superb and perfect for the city centre and budget travellers. more

We did get the cheap room and shared a bathroom, so we didn't expect much...but it wasn't the best place in the world either. No air conditioning...or at least not that we noticed. A smart clean hotel in a good location. Beds are comfy, breakfast was cereal, toast etc. The reception team were friendly. Not a five star but a good hotel at a good price. more
