Stayed for 4 nights with husband, booked trip from sydney as a birthday surprise for him. Rooms were ok, bathroom was spacious and shower had good water pressure. Not sure why I have had old rooms both visits, Dec 08 and Oct 09, 3rd floor. I am sure the rates I paid were not low, walk-in NZD188+ GST, parking another 30.00. We had an airport booking special about $150 with parking included just for one night. Make sure you check the adress ...the airport gave us a wrong one and their brochure did not have the hotel address on it. We were on the top floor and there was no traffic noise. Just spent four nights at the Stamford. Weather was not too good on us while we were there but it was a great place to come back to after being in the wet and cold!
