The hotel has been refurbished since my last stay here two years ago and it remains a great accommodation option for Auckland. Centrally located between shopping and Viaduct precinct with comfortable roomy suites with a great first floor café (Up Café) where you can enjoy breakfast, snacks or drinks through the day. Only real negative is despite a large number... More

This is a hybrid hotel/apartment high rise building two blocks from the Harbor and one block off Queen St, the main shopping thoroughfare. It is a two block stroll to the airport bus stop. Since the harbor front is where many of Auckland's new restaurants, clubs, museums and meeting facilities are, not to mention shopping, it is very handy. Our... More

Stayed here when first arrived in New Zealand. Management & front desk staff super helpful and efficient but I do have to agree with a lot iof other reviewers, the place needs a facelift and definately more equipment in the kitchen unless you are happy to make just sandwhiches!! The cleaning staff do a great job but have an irritating... More

Our tour operator had been unable to book harbour view room for us. As this holiday was to celebrate our retirement and my husbands 65th birthday I e-mailed hotel to ask for next best view, if possible. On arrival we had been allocated a wonderful apartment with fantastic view of the harbour. Not only that but they also left a... More

Our room had one bedroom, one bathroom, a laundry, kitchen and combined dining living area with a fold out bed it was nice and clean. The fold out bed was below standard considering the price of the room. Nice balcony with a view of the harbour and Princes Wharf. There was only 4 sachets of coffee for 4 people which... More

After travelling around the north island for 15 nights this hotel was to be our last. I booked this hotel as the photos looked great, it had views and was good location. It was the most expensive hotel we had stayed in for the holiday $444 per night. Unfortunately it was also the worst. Let me see where do I... More

We are a family of four and stayed in a 2 bedroom on the 15th floor. The "room" was actually bigger than our apartment at home, so the kids were excited. Having a full laundry room was great, as we were at the end of our holiday and going home with clean laundry was great. The kitchen was not very... More

Stayed here for the last Night of our family holiday. Great rooms with a fantastic view over the harbour and perfect with separate bedrooms and large livingroom. For harbour view ask for rooms above 15th floor and room number ending with 7. Great inhouse "up cafe" with homebaked bread, great breakfast and very friendly staff.

We had a 3 bed room apartment on 29 floor great for families (large bedrooms 1 with ensuite with sep kitchen and lounge- dining room) , amazing views over harbour and part city, and great amenities . Close to Brittomart train station, Viaduct, and ferry terminal. It was a bit noisy Sat nite with sirens etc but that was probably... More

My family and I recently stayed at the Sebel Quay West Auckland and it was a wonderful visit. Though the weather didn't cooperate for what was the conclusion of our 3-week journey through Australia and New Zealand, the staff was very accommodating and responsive, which made our stay comfortable and rejuvenating for our trip back to the U.S. A heartfelt...
