room is old and internet in the room don't work. Lousy facilities. Wanted to take a shower and was told no water till 4am! Check with the reception if there is other room and she told me it is fully booked. Call my wife to check hyatt.com to check online and there is still room available. Then called the reception... more

Concierge in a top hat which is normally reserved for some of the top Hotels in the World...what a great first impression but thats where it stopped for me.My first choice when travelling around the world is the Hyatt Brand...what went wrong with this one and I kicked myself when I went to the Hotel next... more

This is a pretty good hotel, but could be better. The good is a good location nice rooms (in the new wing that is, don't know about the old hotel part) The staff are generally friendly, but not always well trained. This is most likely due to " pay peanuts, get monkeys" , mixed with "come on an overseas traineeship"... more

The hotel is located perfectly: It is within walking distance of literally every location in downtown Auckland that you might want to visit. There is a significant climb up from the water, but it is doable. There is a free bus that circles downtown and passes by the hotel. Our room was not normal, I suspect because it had a... more

Very nice hotel, you definitely get what you pay for here. Large room, good facilities and very pleasant staff. The inclusive breakfast is fantastic - it caters for both western and asian tastes. Goof location - right by the Sky Tower. more

This hotel is pretty typical of a business hotel, but it's getting old. There is a new, nicer tower, but I was placed in the old original area. The room is kind of run down. Worn carpet, dented furnishings, chipped painted woodwork, etc. The plumbing fixtures are dates. TV is very old w/o modern interactive features. The bedding and towels... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Hyatt in Auckland in early September. The room we had was old fashioned and beginning to look shabby, the hallway had marks and chunks of plaster knocked out of it. They could save a lot of money by reducing the temperature on the water. It was so hot it burnt us. The staff and... more

the hotel room was nice and roomy, clean and comfortable. We asked gor Gluten free food and this was no problem. Room service was very polite and on time. I asked for a quiet room, and this was OK, although not really quiet with street noise coming through. My colleague had leaky windows that whistled and let the rain into... more

I was at the Hyatt Regency for 3 nights back in June 2005. Everything there was superb...right from the moment we checked in. At the door, we were greeted by friendly bellmen who promptly took our bags up to the room. Everyone at the reception was very warm and friendly. We booked a suite in the residence tower, as we... more
