had a pretty average stay here. The price is very cheap at $139 but i still expected a little more, first the bed was just two single beds pushed together (not what id expect in a hotel) , the duvet cover was very tatty and and holes in it also. the rooms are very outdated and a bit like a... Large hotel but very convenient for the waterfront, restaurants and shops - all within easy walking distance. The location was easy to find. Good safe parking. The room and bathroom needed a little updating but were clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice selection of food offered.

The location is the best - very close to the Viaduct Harbor and downtown areas and a short walk to the Parnell district, The University of Auckland and The Auckland Museum. The extremely friendly staff and delicious full breakfast add to my rating of 4 stars as do the rooms, not luxurious but comfortable and clean with a view of... More

The hotel is well located on the Auckland waterfront, We stayed for one night and it was clean and comfortable although it is obviously dated and could do with some sound proofing onsite car parking is a bonus

The location is fantastic and it isn't overly expensive for the convenience to the viaduct, Vector, and Queen Street. The rooms were tidy if a little tired with housekeeping visiting each day. Checking in and out was a little slow but that could just be bad timing. They did keep our bags for us during the day of our departure... More

This hotel was everything we needed for a three-night stay with our grandson - close to attractions, restaurants and transport, at a reasonable cost. The staff were pleasant but the room was tired. The views over the harbour were great. Our only problem was in the restaurant where the snapper with potatoes turned out to be undercooked salmon without potatoes.... More

Went to Queen concert at Vector arena and the convenience of staying in the centre of Auckland and being able to walk to concert was great. Made paying more than our normal budget for accommodation worth it.

The best thing about this hotel is the location right by the harbour very close to the ferry terminal and many lovely restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights in a superior room but apart from the views there was nothing superior about it. The room was small and dated. The worse thing is that the bedding didn't seem clean as... I feel like there isn't much to add after one of the previous reviews, from JohnSB3 - a very fair and accurate description. The hotel is very old and all the furniture, carpets, curtains, and bathroom fittings have seen better days. The bathroom only has basic toiletries. It is clean enough, and ok for one night, but I wouldn't want... More
