This hotel is right across the road from the cruise ship terminal. The Downtown shopping centre is next door. City shops, restaurants, casino, ferry and bus terminals are all within 10 minutes walk. We had a room on the fifth floor looking out across to the terminal and although it was old and worn it was comfortable. We had a... More

This hotel is dated by the newer hotels in Auckland, so why do I stay there. This location is the best for a solo traveler. The site is a short walk from the Airbus stop, on the wharf. The train, ferry, and other bus stops are conveniently close by. There is no long distances to walk after alighting of the... More

My sister and I disembarked from a cruise ship with only a short walk to the hotel. We thought we were very lucky to have been sent to such a convenient place for an overnight stay for an early flight the next morning. After arriving at 7.30 am, as expected, we were informed that we could leave our luggage but... More

Excellent staff, great with a smile and felt very welcome. We arrived very early because of commitments that day, not a problem one room had just be cleaned and was available so we could go freshen up and put our gear in our room before heading off for the day. Fantastic location to the Viaduct coffee, restaurants, city life. Room... More

The location was so great. The room and hotel was a bit old when comparing to other new hotels but I didn't mind on the old building. The room was big enough. The convenience store 24/7 was just opposite the hotel. From the room, i could see the harbour. Train station / Shopping Area were just a short walk. They... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and we had a superior king room on the 11th floor which had a great view out over the harbour. Ferries were coming and going constantly. Parking is available undercover at $24/night but there's no internal access to the hotel. You walk along the side of the building back to reception.... More

This means no internet, even if you pay a lot. (Internet is expensive) There is an incredible low limit of data (30 Mb). So do not bring children with iPads..... Come on, this you can do better! Room was OK, big enough for 2 adults travelling with 2 children. But rooms really need renovation! Beds are very soft, but we... More

I couldn't believe I was 10 floors up but could still hear every night time conversation and drunken singing session happening down below on the street as if they were in my room. I was staying for one night for work and the price was good for the CBD (and the view of the waterfront was great) but with the... More

This hotel is in an excellent location with harbour views and we could walk to most places. The room was however tired and the bathroom dated. However the water pressure in the shower was great and the room itself was reasonably spacious. Unfortunately the first night we stayed there we had very noisy neighbours which stopped us from sleeping. At... More

This is a conveniently situated hotel. Our room was spacious, clean & mostly quiet & overlooked the harbour, but it needed basic refurbishment. bathroom smelt musty at first but soon freshened up after some use. It was a bit noisy at night due to the proximity of the nightclubs & bars. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.
