2 of us stayed here last weekend for Fast5 Netball. We stayed for 4 nights. Upon arriving at 12.00 p.m. to check to see if we could have a room on 1 of the top floors, I was told it wasn't ready yet, but was on the 2nd floor. I explained that we both come from small towns so would... More

Stayed here during a work conference - hotel is tired and the rooms need a revamp but if you don't get your expectations up too high it not too bad. Make sure that you stay as high as possible as the lower levels can suffer from road noise Reasonable location to Britomart.

Three of us stayed recently while attending the Fast Five netball, and could not fault the location for access to Vector Arena. We booked two rooms, supposedly both"superior" but the room with the single person had no Sky, just a very small bathroom, and no security chain on the door. Due to the lack of chain, despite how full the... More

This is a tired hotel that has outlived its usefulness. Staff only read the rule book, rooms are not clean, lights don't work and they charge you for the Internet. There are better offerings in Auckland for similar price.

This hotel has put my off Copthorne hotels completely. The service was unbelievably shocking, I would put the rude attitude and unhelpful woman on the receptions service down to possibly racism. Refusing to send food to the room as it cost $4 to be paid on arrival of delivery. Refusing to issue a car pass when 4 parks available the... More

We got a discounted deal for this hotel, $99 for 2 adults but no breakfast included. Parking at this hotel is a real mission. It wasn’t explained to us when we booked that, firstly, it is an extra cost of $10 per night, and secondly it’s on a first in first served basis. The carpark is small and you need... More

I did get an awesome deal for this hotel, only $99 for 2 adults which included a full cooked breakfast. I had 2 rooms booked with this deal as a group of us travelled to Akl for an event. The parking is terrible at this hotel. It is a first in first served basis, which was not explained to me... More

Located on prime waterfront real estate, my room on the 10th floor looked straight across to the Harbours' restaurants, ferry terminal and Voyager Museum. Rooms are clean but tired and the street noise might keep you awake (not me though!). But, for the price ($110) & location on a Friday night, great value. Also the cooked breakfast menu in the... Paid almost $300 for our room and another $300 is still being held on my cc the room wasn't even available upon arrival after 2pm had pre rung the hotel to make sure the room was ready and was advised it was when we arrived but it was not! Room was smelly and the "air con" so loud couldn't use... More

My husband and I stayed here two nights in Sept, purely for location. We had two shows to see on the Sat, so quick in and out necessary. Would have been nice to have a Kiwi on the reception, but we got by. Room clean and functional, needs serious update though. Would consider again if only for location.
