Short distance to all attractions either walking, by link bus or cab ride. Internally, its your standard Crowne Plaza experience. more

This is our second stay, the first being three years ago. Both times we stayed on the club floor. Since our previous visit these rooms have been renovated, which is good as they were perhaps starting to look a little dated. More attention has been given to the rooms than to the bathrooms; whilst not actually dated, it was not... more

We booked two separate nights in the Crowne Plaza - one at the start of our seven day tour of the island, and one at the end. Our first room was upgraded to an executive room - very spacious with views looking down towards Auckland harbour. Complimentary breakfast and drinks available. We didn't have this luxury during our second stay... more

We stayed here in a two queen size bed room on the 25th floor with our two kids. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great location as it on top of the Atrium shopping centre which was once the place to shop, now filled with asian owned stalls of clothing and gifts mainly. On the bottom floor is a food court... more

Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of March. Good location - standard business hotel. We needed to orient ourselves, pick up the hire car etc. Staff were efficient and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the bar staff rustled up excellent club sandwiches for us. Indeed because the weather was so bad we ate in the... more

We stayed here twice in January, one night at a rate of $119 and a further two nights a few days later at $160/night. All in all, the Crowne Plaza Auckland was a very good hotel for our stay in Auckland. The hotel is located in the city centre just across the road from the SkyCity casino complex. It is... more

Our fourth stay at the Crowne Plaza, one of our favourite Auckland hotels, & this time we decided to pay a bit extra for the Club. Our room had a great outlook over the city & the water views from the Club lounge were definitely worth a photo. As always the staff were friendly & helpful (one of the main... more

We walked in off the street without a reservation and was pleasantly greeted at reception with a reasonable rate. Baggage was taken up to room efficiently eventhough we had not arrived at our room yet. Room is modern, nicely decorated and clean. Bathoom is nice athough we prefer a bigger bathroom. Liked the LCD TV on the wall. more

Stayed one night on way home. Very handy for city, harbour and airport bus. Clean room and helpful staff when we had a problem opening the safe to get our passports etc when leaving. Definitely a business and conference hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived when tens of business people were also checking in. It was chaos. Can't use the lifts without... more

Stayed at hotel after a cruise from Sydney. Hotel was well decorated and very clean. Staff were very attentive. Location is great; one block from main shopping street and an easy walk down to the harbour. Didn't use the hotel restaurant as there are so many cheaper alternatives close by. Try Elliott Stables next to the rear of the hotel.... more
