The Omahu Lodge is in located in a beautiful area a little outside of the city centre. I was only staying in Auckland one evening as I was traveling through on business and was disappointed I did not have longer to enjoy this comfortable and luxurious B&B. Ken and Robyn were excellent hosts who went out of their way to... more

We haven't ever stayed in a more pristine bed and breakfast. Robyn and Ken provided every luxury we could have wanted. The took the time to ask us about our desires for the remainder of our stay in New Zealand, and guided us based on their extensive knowledge of their home country. What would have otherwise been an impersonal series... more

We stayed one night in the Hobson room upstairs. It was fantastic and luxurious, with slippers, robes, snacks, drinks, wonderful shampoo, conditioner, lotion, fresh flowers, and turn-down service. Robyn and Ken are outstanding well-traveled hosts who are kind, welcoming, professional, excellent cooks, and lovely conversationalists over an incredible breakfast. Short drive to the airport, good restaurants, and the Auckland museum.... more

A first time visitor to new Zealand and single female travelling alone, i couldn't have chosen a better place to stay or better hosts at that. Ken & Robyn are simply the best and go to great lengths to welcome you and make your stay as comfortable and memorable as they possibly can. I occupied the pool room downstairs which... more

We couldn't have been better taken care of - they truly made sure our time with them was special - helping with reservations, transportation, offering expert advice on activities throughout all of NZ, mapping... more

Well appointed modern room with nice bath. The room was exceptionally clean. Beverages were provided in refrigerator. Hosts went above and beyond in making our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were great, and the restaurants in the local area were very good. Overall a great place to stay. more

A belated thankyou to Robyn and Ken for being perfect hosts. The house, location and area are ideal when visiting Auckland. The choice at breakfast as well as the relaxed atmosphere is the perfect way to set you up for a day's sightseeing. And if you have the courage try the pancake which will keep you going all day. Oh... more
