We had a fantastic time in your lovely homestay. Staring at your beautiful mountain view made us feel like we were in Lord of the Rings! Such lovely mountain walks we enjoyed also. Your company and conversation made our stay very enjoyavble and what a fabulous art collection. Very friendly, helpful hosts with their beautiful cats. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Whare Ora Lodge back in July of this year, and it was exactly the break away I needed. Warm, comfortable rooms, stunning views and a gorgeous garden to relax in. Property is on for sale what you can feel from the first second onwards. Room was everything but clean. Breakfast very basic. Location is okay but much better places are available for staying.

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and our own appartment with living room and great bathroom after we hiked the Tongariro crossing. Thank you for the sandwiches you made us for our tour and the useful information you gave us for our trip. We send you our best wishes!... More

This delightful B&B is situated near Okahune and is ideally located for exploring Tongariro National Park. We had a small suit of rooms comprised of lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfasts were wonderful. This peaceful location is topped of with superb views of Mt Ruapehu - seemingly so close that you could... More

My weekend away at peaceful Whare Ora Lodge was fantastic. Not only did I return to the city completely refreshed, but I took with me a new recipe to try at home. Our hosts were so friendly and kind, and I was delighted with my luxurious bedroom with the most amazing view of Mount Ruapehu. We were able to take... More
