Without a doubt the single most amazing location in the Manawatu to catch the starry night sky! Night spent in a beautiful vintage cabin, with lovely animal companions around that kept us entertained the whole trip. Thank you for having us Kylie :) Send my love to Porky -Kimberley W

I stayed three lovely months at Rangitikei Farmstay and enjoyed every minute of it. Working and living with Kylie, Andrew and Hannah was a great expereince I really wouldn't want to miss. Their rustic farmstay is absolutely marvellous and offers for everyone the right option from the beautiful west hut to the spacious bunkhouse, stuffed with history about the farm... More

The whole experience was marvelous! Enjoyed every bit of it, from feeding the farm animals to watching the star constillation up close in the night. The hosts were very pleasant and the hospitality was great. I would totally stay there again without a doubt. Thanks for having me.

Stayed only 2 nights in the west hut. Very comfortable! Great beds, view....serenity. although we are glad we added the extra cost of access to the bunkhouse. More room, area out of rain to play and make a mess, close to the animals, Plus PlayStation when the kids are done with roaming the paddocks. Dog and shearing show was great.... More

I brought my family, including my parents and sisters with me for a 3D2N stay at Rangitikei farm in early Nov this year. Another friend of mine who resides in New Zealand also joined us at the farmstay with her two young toddlers, age 2.5 years and 5 years. That makes 8 of us. We read a lot of good... More

Our family (with 2 young teenage daughters) stayed for a week in the West Hut in mid September. The accommodation is cosy and homely and the scenery magnificent. Our girls just loved the freedom and adventure of the rural landscape and the animals. Childhood memories returned of those long ago outdoor adventures, without the need of the electronic devices for... More

We stayed with our twin boys for three nights at Rangitikei Farmstay. Ideal for kids as they have plenty of space to entertain themselves. Kylie and Andrew are great hosts and the accommodation has stunning views.

We are a family of 5 from New Plymouth and we recently spent 3 nights in the West Hut and had a wonderful time. Highlights for our two girls aged 5 and 3 were pony rides with Kylie and the campfire pudding on a starry night, which involved lots of toasted marshmallows and bananas oozing gooey chocolate! My husband loved... More

Kylie, Andrew and Hannah made us all feel so welcome at the farm. We had 5 nights using the West hut (me, my husband and a 2.5 year old) and East hut (my Dad) and the bunkhouse for self catering. The accommodation was all really clean and to a really high standard, and the quirky bathroom spaces just made it... More

We are a family of 5 from the U.S., traveling for 3 months in New Zealand and I am pretty sure that our 3 nights with Kylie and Andrew at Rangitikei will be one of the biggest highlights of the trip! The farm is stunning, with so many things to occupy children and families (feeding the animals, watching the incredible... More
