We stayed with our twin boys for three nights at Rangitikei Farmstay. Ideal for kids as they have plenty of space to entertain themselves. Kylie and Andrew are great hosts and the accommodation has stunning views.

We are a family of 5 from New Plymouth and we recently spent 3 nights in the West Hut and had a wonderful time. Highlights for our two girls aged 5 and 3 were pony rides with Kylie and the campfire pudding on a starry night, which involved lots of toasted marshmallows and bananas oozing gooey chocolate! My husband loved... More

Kylie, Andrew and Hannah made us all feel so welcome at the farm. We had 5 nights using the West hut (me, my husband and a 2.5 year old) and East hut (my Dad) and the bunkhouse for self catering. The accommodation was all really clean and to a really high standard, and the quirky bathroom spaces just made it... More

We are a family of 5 from the U.S., traveling for 3 months in New Zealand and I am pretty sure that our 3 nights with Kylie and Andrew at Rangitikei will be one of the biggest highlights of the trip! The farm is stunning, with so many things to occupy children and families (feeding the animals, watching the incredible... More

This was our first farm stay in New Zealand and really enjoyed staying at Rangitikei Farmstay. Kylie and Andrew are wonderful hosts. Kylie is a great chef and we really enjoyed having a break from cooking. The farm grounds are beautiful and worth a walk around. Our children really enjoyed spending time with the farm animals and were upset to... More

This was our 2nd trip to New Zealand but the first time that we had stayed on a farm. I happened to chance upon Rangitikei Farmstay through the tripadvisor and also from the review on Facebook. It was a wonderful experience for both my children who is 7 and 3. My older child is a bit afraid of close contact... More

Although we only did a day visit many of us decided it would be a wonderful spot to come back to for break. The scenery on the way out and actually there was breathtaking. Kylie was well informed with all aspects of the farm and its history, we were all most interested in all she had to share with us.... More

Two of us stayed three nights on the farm in August, and it was undoubtedly the best part of our two-week holiday on the North Island. The West Hut was comfortable -- it had a heater and the double bed was also heated. The bathroom has a rustic feel to it, with bits of the outside -- grass, flowers --... More
