YHA perth is central to everything and within walking distance, or catch the free CAT buses which are virtually every 5 minutes. The connect shuttle bus $15 FROM PERTH AIRPORT drops you outside the door. Clean sheets are given for your bed with a $10 key deposit. Large kitchens and dining areas, internet lounge which you have to pay for,... More

I stayed two different times at the Perth Central YH and highly recommend it. The kitchens are spit less and folks clean up after themselves. Food storage is good with refrigerators having lots of space too. Big dining room and several rooms for reading and using computers. There is a gym just off the dining rooms too. Outdoor pool and... As most of the YHA hostels in Australia, you will know what to expect with this hostel. Clean room, friendly staff, very well located in the city and on top of the hostel have his own pub next door where you will have a lot of fun :)

I stayed in this hostel just for one night. It was quite cleaned but to be an hostel it was expensive. The location is perfect because is in the centre of the city. The staff wasn't pretty helpful and WIFI isn't included. No more.

Stayed here on 2 separate occasions before and after a tour I was doing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hostel itself really needs an update! Common areas are modern and clean, but both rooms I was in were very run down - cupboards falling off, dirty, and in need of a re-furb. Very noisy rooms also from the... More

I stayed here ten days and found an extremely clean and tidy hostel. The kitchen is well organized and almost new, the bathrooms were always clean and so was my room. The staff was kind and helpful and they had a convenient one-week deal. It's not exactly cheap, but it's definitely worth it and I would recommend it to a... More

Been to Perth City YHA for few days early February, as I planned to attend the Big Day Out in Perth. The hostel is modern and well equipped, the common areas are really nice places to chill-out and relax, before getting throught the city's vibrant nightlife. The staff is so nice & friendly that the hostel could be worth staying... More

Considering YHA's charge more than other hostels, this is far from the best I have been in. There were cockroaches in the kitchen for a start. The rooms are small but comfortable, however, the hostel is next to a railway line so very noisy throughout the night.

The hostel is perfectly located as it's only a 2 min walk to the central train station, and it's directly opposite where the airport transfer bus drops off / picks up (which operates 24 hours and is $15 one-way). The hostel itself has everything you need, including a small gym and a swimming pool, which is always an added bonus.... More

We stayed in a twin room on the ground floor and back of the hostel. It was very very noisy not only because we could hear every conversation that was held in the BBQ area but also because there were trains passing all night long... To have an idea how loud it was - the other person had to repeat... More
