I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. Comfy beds. Clean. For A$29 a night, no complain about it. Walking distance from perth city where you can take complimentary CATs buses to tour round or hop on to the train to Freo. more

The rooms themselves were OK but the staff was immature and not very sevice minded. They also advertise themselves as a 24/7 operation but they're really only about an 8am-9pm kind of place. After that the couch will check you in. more

I was very impressed wit the Emperor's Crown - first hostel I've ever stayed at that I can say was very clean! Staff are helpful and the computer/entrance area is nice. Whilst a good base for exploring Perth, I wouldn't stay for too long as it somewhat lacks colour and excitement. more
