the hostel seems nice and clean and also there is some free food in the kitchen, its a small hostel so people get together easy. however, meeting the owner ruined my stay. he was extremely rude i won't recommend anyone to stay there.

I'm sorry that you feel that way about my self but I had to ask you to stop sleeping all day on the sofa as other people wanted to watch the tv and you had your own room for that. And the staff got sick of asking you to wake up... We are not a hotel and its only a... More

Before sharing with you my fantastic experience in this hostel, I need to tell you my other awful hostel experience in Australia. I traveled for a month in Australia and met all sorts of crazy roommates in other hostels: roommate who had sex in a female dorm, who chatted loudly and listened to music at 4 a.m., who knocked on... Great hostel. Australian hostels tend to be big, cold and sanitized. This one is really different, with a lot of character, different rooms to relax, eat, play, watch TV... This is actually the first "generous" hostel we've been to. Meaning free food, free washing machines, etc. We were here during a "sandwich night", and were expecting cheap bad sandwich. Instead,... I loved this hostel, but I won't give it a 5 because there are things that could make it even better. The six bed dorm rooms can be a bit cramped when everyone has luggage in there. The 4 bed dorms have a lot more space to store stuff. There is a luggage room near the small kitchen which is... More

When I have been in this hostel I was so foolish to assume that the facilities described on Hostelworld would be accurate . It stated that there would be airconditioning, fruit and vedgies at breakfast and free wifi. All of these were reasons why I decided to stay at this hostel. Well when I arrived in Perth it was hot... Im sorry but I cant under stand how you can say that as all you did that week was moan and moan and moan.... We put on free Bbq nights and curry nights for every-night the internet was down and you still had to moan. And the guys you moved into the house with said the same thing about you... More

Best hostel I've stayed in in Australia! The staff are great, the place is clean and the facilities are good. It's a pretty small hostel with only about 25 beds. There are few long term residents but plenty of people stay a week or two, meaning it's really easy to meet people and get to know them! There are 4... More

I only stayed for two nights as a stopover from my aunts on my way back to the east coast, however I will be back next time I visit my aunt. The staff were lovely, chris and Charlie were uber friendly and very friendly especially when it came to my, admittedly very heavy, suitcase. The dorms are unique with lots... More

Would like to say Charlie and Chris worked hard to keep, the retreat to a high standard, in a great location walking distance to the swan river one way and the city centre the other way ! Offering a real community spirit and catering in the evening via a BBQ , pizza or buffet, the best hostel I've ever stayed... More
