Average facilities, staff were quite rude and vaguely helpful. All the cleaners are backpackers working for their rent because they have no money so if they were out boozing the night before then dont count on a good service. I stayed here the end of December and not only was there no atmosphere, I got bed bugs it was disgusting, when I went to the chemist he asked where I was staying when I told him he said people always get bed bugs there get out! Moved staright out but spent a fortune on getting all my clothes hot... more

Not great to say the least. I should note now though that is was June 2008 when I stayed there but it was pretty rough looking. All I can say is that this is one of the best and most catered-for backpackers that I've been to, and I've been all across Australia. It has got everything you want from a hostel.
