I booked this hotel mainly due to the location and the lure of free parking which is quite a rarity within Perth City itself. Hay and Murray Street Mall is around 10 mins walk away so can't ask for more given that it is one of the more affordable places to stay in Perth City. Rooms are dated but good... More

Very basic, but comfortable and clean with own kitchenette. Free parking on site was an added advantage. Quiet so you can enjoy a good nights sleep. For the price I will stay here again! It is conveniently situated on Riverside and close to the city.

Stayed for four nights and enjoyed four nights of un-interrupted sleep. Coming from the country where its always quiet at night I was a bit dubious about staying right in the middle of a major city as I do not normally sleep well with my clothes on in city hotels. However my wife and I slept very well indeed on... More

Good place to stop and catch your breath after landing in Perth airport from UK. Adequate car parking space around the side. Good location for visiting the city, the park, the river (and the Bell Tower). Comfortable but basic rooms with cooking facilities. Good for a few nights before moving on.

We had to find a place for one night only and as we were arriving very late and leaving early didn't want to pay the earth for just a sleep and shower. Perth prices are very expensive. This hotel was obviously a block of flats way back when and look ordinary. However the room was very clean and tidy and... More

Very good for the price and close to some nice bars and cafes. Looks a bit like a jail from outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable with a good kitchen and superb shower. Only a short taxi ride from the airport too. The only complaint I have is no fault of the hotel, everything in Perth is so... More

We booked at City Waters because it had a kitchen and we have dietary needs which is often better to cook yourself. It had a good size separate kitchen, it was quite, located in a good spot away from the traffic noise but close enough to CBD and ferries, buses and trains. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable... More

We found City Waters convenient for walking to Perth shops, and also very convenient for getting to the Barrack St ferry (for Rottnest Island express). I am a light sleeper, but the hotel rooms are surprisingly quiet for such a central location. I had a good sleep each night. The rooms are not fancy, a little dark, but nice and... More
