We stayed in the Coolibah Lodge several times from august till december 2008. Everything was perfectly arranged. Good location, near city centre and pubs, nice courtyard and very good staff: in for some fun, but also very caring in case of trouble. We even left our luggage there for almost three months, while we were travelling elsewhere and no problems... more

Stayed at the coolibah lodge, while looking for permanent accomodation in perth. First stay in a hostel, for a very long time, and I was pleased with the overall stay. The management was excellent and fairly new, they appear to have made alot of new and production changes to the coolibah lodge. Staying at the lodge allowed me to get... more

Stayed here for about 3 months. Was great. Friendly staff, and everyone made you feel welcome. The courtyard with a pool table bbq and a big table was a great place to socialize more

We stayed in a double room just off the courtyard, bathroom right next door, sink with tea & coffee in the bedroom, nice clean big room, courtyard at night was great for having a beer and meeting people. Its a very relaxed chilled out place, while you have people that love to party those that enjoy an early night are... more

My partner and I stayed in the hostel in May 2008. We chose this hostel as it s'posidly had nice rooms looking over a courtyard, internet, and was in a good location. We were paying $400/week for our room which a heck of a lot anyway at a backpackers so we thought they must be pretty nice. They were advertised... more

Stayed in Coolibah for a week, to be honest the place was dirty very dirty (my feet were black from walking down the corridor) the beds were very worn and the cleaners never came into the rooms except to empty the bins but the people and atmosphere were great. They have beer specials and a great courtyard out the back... more

I travelled all over Asia and Australia in 2002 and stayed in many top class hotels, hostels and even a camper van for several weeks. This hostel in Perth was amazing, and I would highly recommend it. Def the best hostel we stayed in of all those in Australia. more

This place rocks, the Hostel staff are all great, friendly and very helpful, the place has everthing you need and want, so much so that I intended to stay a couple of week,s and left 3 months later. It is more like a home away from home, than a Hostel, Lorraine has rewritten the rules of how to run a... more

This is the only hostel where I've smelt furniture polish as I walked it. It came highly recommended to us, and certainly lived up to it. We had a private double room opening onto the courtyard, with the loo right next door. In our room as well as a proper quilt on the bed, we had tea & coffee and... more
