This place should not be aloud to open its doors! Upon arrival we told it was $30 extra to park your car. So all up it cost me $160 for a room we never used due to the following... When we arrived we just put our stuff in the room because we were running late for a meeting. We arrived... More

I was a bit concerned having read some of the reviews, my summary is: - Bed very average, you really can feel the springs. - Shower is awful, the nozzle is quite low, and the grout has mould. - Staff were quite friendly and helpful - Room was quiet Really good location (just around the corner from our office), but... Musky smell in room. Advertised as "fully airconditioned" but central aircon only heats the room. There is no other way of ventilating the room except for openning the door. This place is generally dirty. Do not stay here unless you have no other options.

Car parking was right next to the hotel but the bays are very tight. Entering the hotel from the car park was very unpleasant as it was very dirty. The hotel staff were very accommodating changing us from a 1st floor room (where instead of over looking the Swan River, as stated, we overlooked a construction site) to a 4th... More

I was invited to Perth to attend a business meeting and was looking forward to having a good sleep after the long flight to get there. However what I got was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in and as there was an event on in town for the same nights, I had no option but to... More

You can always tell a hotel's standard by the staff at reception - the girl looked depressed and like she was counting down the minutes until she could get out of there - couldn't say I blame her. I could not find anything positive about this place at all. Parking is $30 overnight and it's the dodgiest parking place. Wifi... More

Staff friendliness : Not so friendly. The old man gave us headache and heartache. The chinese-look lady not very helpful. However, the room is comfortable. Wifi is not free. You have to pay for a limited time and limited to one user per room (if am not mistaken) . Car park will cost you $30AUD per day per bay. Not... More

Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas & News Year holidays. It might not be the most up market hotel in Perth but we had a clean room, friendly staff and any request was not a problem. I would stay there again as the location to Perth was great.

Very old hotel needs upgrading, don't know how it can be called the NEW Esplanade? Parking is a rip off, wifi is a rip off, pillows were so uncomfortable and our room could hear the elevator banging all night. Our room also overlooked the bin in the carpark. Staff not friendly, but room was clean and nice thick towels were... More

I have regrettably stayed at this hotel twice now, for the same reason that it even still exists...location. Side note: Once Elizabeth Quay is complete this place will have the most epic view; I truly hope it's under new management by then. It is a very old and worn out hotel. It has a musty smell throughout, and is a... More
