Room was just ok, however with the night club revellers at 3.00am and construction workers at 6.00am, forget about rest. Miss Maud's hotel in the Perth CBD is great value because of its central location just along from the mall, its quality accommodation and the excellent buffet breakfast. Hi! We stayed here as locals for my birthday night (no drinking and driving, right!). What a beautiful surprise it turned out to be! The decor goes from fascinating to shocking, but that doesn't do the charm any harm. Loved this little hotel...the Swedish style breakfast was amazing. We were in a corner room which actually was very large and the price was right. It may be a little quirky but we have very fond memories of Miss Maud's. more

It´s a special combination Australian and Swedish culture uder one roof. Service, cleanliness, rooms and own Swedish kitchen is great and worth to stay. Nice location in the town. more

If you're looking modern you need to look again because the Miss Maud hotel is not for you. From the ancient lift to the rabbit-warren of passages this hotel reflects time past and ,of course, this shows from some of the comments posted on here.
