Really can't wait to go back to this hotel (booked already for November. Beautiful interior, very stylish, great friendly staff, excellent restaurant, best hotel in Perth that I've stayed in. I enjoyed reading about the history of the building, very interesting to discover it Recognised a few faces when I stayed.

With Perth hotel prices being a rip off, I've stayed in Miss Maud several times now for business. Although being an old hotel, the rooms are clean. There is free wifi and a spacious desk to do work in the evenings. Be aware, however, that this hotel still has rooms with single beds. So when booking your room, make sure... More

My hubby and I stayed one night. We booked the "Getaway for two treat" which included the dinner, bed and breakfast. We found the room very clean, comfortable and quiet. We thought the position of the hotel was central, easy walking distance of the shopping, the quay, the buses etc. Dinner and breakfast - yum, wide range of choices.

A decent hotel; good location; breakfast buffet is extensive, but gets old after a couple of breakfasts; more of a cattle car operation that focuses on quantity rather than quality of food. Hotel is older; rooms small and tired. Not a hotel I would return to. Try the Pensione across the street, which may have prices $50 per nite cheaper... More

This cosy hotel is family friendly and we had good spread of breakfast. I love the crepes and pastries best!! We also tried their dinner buffet one night and wasn't too bad either. Perth city has not many good places for good food at a good price. Most places outside are quite expensive. Buffet spread includes fresh oysters, crayfish, prawns,... More

Our two night stay was very comfortable. It was a good idea to pay for a larger room and it was very quiet apart from a little outside street noise that seemed to settle before too late. Although an old building our room was in good condition and very clean. As others have said the breakfast is very generous, good... More

Spent two days in Perth before heading south, and stayed at Miss Maud Swedish Hotel. Was surprised by the Swedish bit in the name, but then understood when I stayed. I am originally from Central Europe (not Northern Europe), and this hotel oozes European hospitality at its best. Service with a smile, excellent food (my goodness, what a breakfast!!!), nothing... Really cute hotel and amazing breakfast! It's not 5* accommodation but the little touches and the Swedish theme make for a really enjoyable stay. It's a central, comfy place and the huge choice at breakfast make it worth a recommendation.

The reception was abrupt and not pleasant, maybe as we booked using lastminute.com. The room we were given was not what the pictures showed, it was tiny, really claustrophobic in fact, it felt totally airless. No window and funny stale smell. The beds were good, sheets clean and the place was generally very clean if somewhat old looking, but I... More

Stayed for 2 nights at Miss Maud's in Perth after a business trip for some personal time. It wasn't the cheapest option for a single room, but the room itself was adequate. Had a very clean bathroom with nice products, nice TV and airconditioner and WiFi included. Funny forest scene wallpaper on one wall. Few things to note...there was no... More
