MMSH is conveniently located in the CBD. As with most Perth hotels, it is somewhat pricey; supply and demand at work. My room, 212, was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. The buffet breakfast was excellent. It had many options and was an excellent way to begin the day. The buffet dinner was also excellent.... More

Had an interesting two days in Perth on our way back to England. Chose this hotel because of location/price and wasn't disappointed - slightly rundown area but this is obviously a favourite haunt for Perth-ians (or whatever they're called). Restaurant, Bakery, then Hotel reception in a row on the street - need to leave hotel to get to Breakfast location,... More

Quaint decor reminiscent of Europe. Comfortable beds. Mention when booking if you can't manage stairs as there are a few. There is a lift but within floors there are stairs. The breakfast was wonderful. Excellent start to the day!

Our second stay at Miss Maud's. This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Perth, just 2 minutes from the shops and 15 minutes from the river. Be warned this means there is some excessive noise on Friday and Saturday night from people in the street on a night out. The building is old but the rooms are maintained... More

Miss Maud's is well situated in the city centre and is handy for the free buses, the train and the river dock. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the immediate area but you should not miss the buffet in the evening. It is excellent as is the breakfast. The rooms are a bit small and dated, but adequate... More

Spent a few days at Miss Mauds after travelling to Perth on the Indian Pacific train. The room was very comfortable and such a quaint place. The buffet food is full of choices. We were able to walk around the cbd as it is right in the city. Made our experience of WA that much nicer. I would stay in... More

We booked a package which included the room, dinner for 2 and a buffet breakfast. The hotel is old but is maintained to a high standard. The room is adequate for an overnight stay and very handy to the city, train station etc. The room was small but had everything we needed. The lighting in the bathroom is fantastic. Shower... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in October following our arrival in perth from the UK. As our flight arrived at 6 am we were at the hotel by about 7. Not surprisingly our room was not available but the receptionist was very helpful and we enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast. Our standard room was perfectly adequate... More

A little unsure how to rate our stay Miss Mauds Swedish Hotel. We don't have anything negative to say about the place, just never really stayed in a hotel like it before. It is an older style accommodation, but found the likes of the bathroom, although small to be immaculately clean. Great location in town, yet quiet for a good... More

About 20 mins from Perth airport by taxi and a 15-20 min walk from the CBD. The hotel is a well-known institution among Perthites. There for a 3 day stay prior to catching a cruise ship from Fremantle. We were a late night arrival from Singapore however warmly welcomed upon arrival at about 1:15 am by a very obliging gentleman.... More
