I was going to give this 3 stars but I gave it 2 because the Service wasn't that good...no information ever given I had to ask question after question and when I did they responded with no smile and a feeling as if your being a 'hassle' and a bother to them. Having said that the rooms were ok for... more

Firstly, this was supposed to be a corporate room - can only say, would hate to see a standard room. Very, very basic - no extras, not even a tv guide which are in most standard rooms i have stayed in. Air conditioning centrally adjusted so no room adjustment possible and it was spewing out hot air. I rang reception... more

My husband and I live in country WA but when we come to the CBD we often go to this hotel having tried quite a few. It's a 15m walk from the CBD or you can hop on a free bus. There's a decent Irish pub nearby and a really nice curry house called Balti. Parking is $10 but we... more

This hotel was a dissapointment from the get go. Odd smell in foyer, room was smelly and dirty. Dust everywhere. The hotel restaurant was below standard, the buffet breakfast sausages were hard as rock. Tried to eat dinner and was turned away becasue they were too busy. meanwhile there is a chinese restaurant at the bottom of Hay street that... more

I've stayed at this hotel many times for business trips to Perth. The hotel is only 3.5 stars, so do not expect it to be anything like a 4 or 5 star hotel. I've never had any problems with the staff here and have been friendly and helpful while i've been here. Each time I have stayed here, the rooms... more

Me, father, liked the Ambassador. It was a good palce to crash whilst we organised ourselves in WA. Central, easy to get around Perth, OK rooms, free internet (amazingly only next repeated 5 months later in Australasia) and a feeling of just being a hotel where you go out and find life (of course this is slightly ironic in Perth... more

Stayed here at the start of an escorted tour of Australia, where the brochure says "experience dictates that customers want to relax after the journey". Why choose this hotel? The rooms allocated were standard rooms which had not been refurbished - they smelt stale(being polite!), with a layer of dust around the fridge and cracked and discoloured sink - not... more
