Booked this hotel via the Qantas site. That got me a cheaper price for the same deal then booking on hyatt.com, double QFF points and no credit card surcharge. The hotel is nice and the rooms are well appointed. The location is right next door to the WACA and the Cirque du Soleil. Not too many shops or restaurants nearby... More

Dear BrissieTraveller83 Good to hear you enjoyed your recent stay with us and thank you very much for your excellent comments regarding our Buffet breakfast in Cafe, which are greatly appreciated. It’s certainly great having Cirque du Soleil so close at the moment and many guests are taking advantage of either pre/post meals as well as staying the night with... More

The Hyatt Regency is certainly one of the better hotels in Perth and we found that the rates were very competitive especially when compared against some of the central CBD hotels. So, although it is a little bit of a walk to the CBD there are other alternatives in getting into the CBD such as the free shuttle and also... More

My husband booked us in here for the day and night of my return from an overseas holiday. It was a lovely surprise and I loved every minute of it. We had a suite which was magnificent...modern, pristine, huge, located on same floor as Club Hyatt Lounge which was handy. Room service was excellent, delicious stir fried garlic and chili... More

Dear Karen C What a great way to spend your first night on home soil after being overseas, I’m sure you really welcomed the unexpected extra relaxation time. Thank you for letting me know about the slow service in Conservatory – busy or not, our team should still be on the ball so we’ll look into this. I also appreciate... More

We booked the Hyatt Regency Perth as a last minute weekend trip. The rate we managed to get was extremely competitive as it included parking and full breakfast. When the booking was made I did highlight that it was for 2 adults and 1 child, but when we got to the hotel they had only allocated a room for 2... More

Dear MissBehavingAgain I am pleased to note that you enjoyed your time with us and appreciate the feedback you provided – particularly regarding the water. Whilst the water by the bed is complimentary the one on the desk is not and you make a very valid point in that this should be made a little more obvious; I will follow... More

Stayed a night at the Hyatt Regency on a sunday with my husband for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We managed to get a really good deal for the hotel rates. We booked the bonus 99 package which included $99 credits for use in the hotel. We used it for a buffet lunch at the Hyatt cafe. It was a really... More

Dear Prisinboots Really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us and that we were able to help you celebrate your anniversary in style. We recently stayed here for a night away in April 2013. The Hyatt is located next to the river, within walking distance to the heart of the city, although if you don't feel like walking, all the busses in this part of the city are free to travel on (CBD area). The check-in was speedy and problem free. The hotel... More

Dear talldutchie Thank you so much for your feedback. Good to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and that you found everything to your liking – particularly the omelette and waffles, which are certainly very popular choices. With regards to the bathroom set up, we do have rooms that have separate showers, namely our Deluxe Kings, or alternatively... More

Agree that the hotel is from yesteryear and slightly tired. Aside from its dated, geometric and monstrous design, the hotel is very functional, comfortable and well located. Rooms a good size, a bath and a separate shower, and comfortable beds. Good food, decent swimming pool, but otherwise neglected spa area. If staying again in Perth, would see if something more... Dear LuckyLooch Many thanks for your review and it’s good to note that you would consider staying with us again. Whilst it’s true there is little we can do to change the actual design of our building, we are constantly looking at ways to improve and enhance the interior aspects and ambience of the hotel. With this in mind, we... More

I can wholeheartedly recommend the suites on the 8th floor of this hotel. We were upgraded and they're really delightful: huge living area with one of the comfiest sofas ever for watching TV, and then a bedroom with a view of the Swan River. I found the staff charming, and housekeeping was particularly efficient. An extra commendation for free wi-fi... More

We stayed in a Club King room for 5 nights on the eighth floor over Easter and had an enjoyable stay throughout. Yes, the property itself is a bit dated and for sure it's an older style hotel but it is very well maintained and the renovated rooms and very comfortable. I started staying here in the 90's and the hotel was state of the art. I don't think they have spent a dollar since.the room rates are ridiculous and together with most other Perth hotels they gouge the clients....the front desk staff were surly and everyone heads off the coffee shops to avoid the eye watering breakfast costs. I won't... More
