Great location and the most comfortable beds. Food quality is great unfortunately the food service does not match. Well located on Hay Street Mall close to shops and the convention centre. I would stay here again if going to Perth more

Stayed here 1 night recently, I must say that the Hotel is good location. Great accessing to all of Perth's places such as train station, bus stop, restaurant, pubs, clubs, cafe, swan tower, shopping center, business center etc. The room was large, clean, big double beds with a very comfortable mattress/pillows, very spacious bath room. The concierge were very helpful. It is OK but don't expect grand luxury.... more
Fantastic location for visiting beautiful Perth. The free CAT buses stop right outside and there are plenty of restaurants, fast food places shopping malls and Barrack Street Jetty, Train and Bus stations within a few minutes walk. We looked at other apartments and hotels in Perth but after visiting for the first time in Nov 2007 we were pleased we'd... more
Tiny public areas, boxy high-static rooms, low-ceiling corridors, nothing could cheer us up in this depressing place. The "lounge" on the ground floor is so dark that you cannot see properly to read a book. In the end we even took to eating breakfast in the street rather than stay indoors. Staff very nice but the internal parts are desperately... more
Very nice hotel within easy reach of everything needing reaching. The rooms were very comfortable and reasonably quiet except for the noise at the rear of the hotel by refuse collectors at night and in the morning. Got a bit busy at the weekend with aussie football supporters. Food and bar service excellent. Staff very helpful, courteous and polite. Got... more
This hotel is an excellent base for the business traveller or the tourist. It is very central, within walking distance of the railway station, barrack street jetty and the main shopping centre. I was there on business and the facilities were very good. Internet access in the room which was very efficent. The room was spacious and very well maintained.... more
I booked 2 rooms and stayed here with family. I wouldn't stay again. One of the rooms had a vile smell being omitted from the air conditioner. It smelled of foul sort of urine smell. I complained to the manager who agreed to move me but said that they had no similar rooms available. They also overcharged me, but a... more
Great location, just minutes from the main shopping streets and a short strole to the rail station. Staff were friendly with the breakfast crew showing genuine warmth and interest. The room was adequate, but the level of cleaning did not come up to expectation. Room service was very speedy with the food being tastey and hot (Try the "take away... more
We knew this hotel was quite old, but as we were only staying one night and its situation was so convenient for our plans of theatre and shopping, we decided to book anyway and were very pleasantly surprised. The corridors were a little depressing and need refurbishing, but the room was large and airy with two Queen-size beds and bathroom... more
Friendly, efficient welcome. Deluxe rooms on the upper floors are well-equipped and spacious. Excellent situation on Hay Street, a few steps from the pedestrianised Hay Street and Murray Street malls. Helpful, cheerful concierge helped make this a great place to stay. The rather barren internal bar area extends outside and is popular with locals but there are more atmospheric pubs... more
