We stayed for 3 nights and, apart from a few faulty light bulbs that were quickly replaced, had a really positive experience. Our room had been renovated and was cool and comfortable, with a short stroll to the pool and the outdoor restaurant overlooking Roebuck Bay. The food was great and reasonably priced, and the breakfast selection was extensive, well-prepared... More

This hotel has a great location overlooking the bay. It's going through some refurbishment program that presents spacious well appointed rooms. The friendly and helpful staff are international as expected in resort destinations like Broome and the food & beverage offerings are more than adequate.

Given the prices in Australia for food and accommodation which I think are astronomical for what you get - I thought this hotel was fantastic for the price. For $214 per night we have a huge clean beautifully decorated room overlooking the bay. Given we have paid close to that price for grotty motel rooms along the way I think... More

We stayed in September for 5 nights. Had a newly renovated room which was really nice. Pools and entertainment area lovely. Staff very friendly. Food was reasonably priced $15-$30 approx for a main meal. Has a lovely vibe to it. Bus stop out the front for getting around the town or call Broome taxis - we had no issues with... More

Booked our holiday in August to correspond to the "Staircase to Moon" viewing and we were delighted to discover the Mangrove Hotel was one of the best places for this. Our room overlooked one of the pools and the outdoor area on Roebuck Bay. The room was very comfortable and most likely one of the new rooms as was up-to-date... More

Yes .. our experience too was that our room was dingy, grubby, tired, dark. Dining area was pleasant They really need to warn people when booking that some rooms are so inferior and they should be much cheaper! It was a 10-15 min walk from town which is OK except in the heat.

Stayed for 2 nights in September with a friend. We had a newly renovated room which was lovely and light and airy with very comfortable beds. The ceiling fan is a bit loud but the air con is great. The resort has 2 pool areas and and amazing bar/restaurant area with the most spectacular views. We didn't get to eat... More

Don't be fooled by the beautiful entrance and the gorgeous garden overlooking Roebuck Bay. We were very disappointed by this hotel. Obviously the recent renovations have not quite reached the rooms. Horrible, tired and downright tacky. To open our wardrobe we put our hands in holes.... there were no handles! It was a shock for us to find what we... More

Most of the rooms have now been renovated although there are still some to go. We were given one of the old rooms on our first night which was pretty dingey so we asked to be moved. The newly renovated room was lovely - light, bright and spacious with a great view. The hotel grounds are great with a huge... More

Great view over the water, grass with plenty of shade. We were there Sunday and there was a bouncy castle set up, the right distance away for both supervision and noise limitation! The food and service were both good. There was a wide mix of people - young drinkers, families, couples etc. and the space was big enough to accommodate... More

Dear Nmo n Thank you for your review it is always nice to get such positive feedback.
