A very big thank you to Mecure Broome for looking after us for what was going to be 3 days and extended to a month due to car troubles. The staff stored our camping gear and upgraded us to a larger room with a view over Roebuck Bay. In house dining was delicious and reception and housekeeping staff were exceptional... More

The Mercure Broome is an excellent choice for travelers on differing budgets. A ten minute walk to the center of Broome, five minute walk to the weekend markets, a five minute walk to the beautiful Town Beach and a three minute walk to the famous Matso's Brewery and restaurant, are just a few of the highlights of staying at the... We stayed at the Mercure Broome in August 2014 for a few night while my parents were in town. The room was clean and comfortable and even received a complementary upgrade on arrival. We ate and drank at Murphy's irish pub a few times, our favourites were the lamb shanks and the sirloin steak! AMAZING PUB FOOD! Broome is expensive... More

Our first trip to Broome. We find Accor have very well trained staff, always helpful and friendly as Ben was in reception on the day Broome Taxis forgot to pick us up and so we missed the flight home. Ben was excellent in following up and that was typical of our 4 night stay with staff always helpful and friendly... More

checking into the Mecure, average stock standard welcome and registration. Barely a smile and disinterested robotic reaction. 'Superior Room' hmm I don't think a 4* deserving room (photos attached of defects) Loud families in corridors between rooms (single story) older section one would believe compared to a newer looking multi story wing. Average grounds. Average rating at best!

I recently stayed at the Mecure Broome for 2 two day stays and was upgrade to a deluxe room on both occasions. I found the location ideal - walking distance to the town area, bus stop outside the door. As I was staying by myself the dinning facilities I found very handy as I would not walk around the town... I was upgraded to a deluxe room for the weekend and, as a loyal (and frequent) Advantage Plus member, was pleased to receive such recognition. So what did my supposedly "deluxe" room deliver for my $260.10 per day? A spacious room that was cramped by too much heavy furniture, I assume of Indonesian origin, including, somewhat bizarrely, a chaise lounge... More

My room was on the second floor with a balcony (privilege room), looking over the park. WiFi worked very well, room is spacious and they have a secure car park. Reception staff were great. There is a self-service laundry (washing $3.00 and dryer $2.00) that was very handy for us. Location is also ideal - bus stop in front of... More

This hotel has the friendlies staff but that is about all it has going for it. It is about 20 years overdue for a renovation. Very shabby and tacky. The restaurant looked like a cafeteria but charged $35 for fish and vegetables. The rooms are all fitted with queen size slat bed and they are not comfortable. My initial room... More
