We stayed at this so called "resort" for 3 nights in August and we were bitterly dissapointed. The rooms are outdated and smelly, despite being "cleaned?" daily. We arrived after midnight after our flight and the first words we got from reception were " you know check out is at 10am no exceptions" well they can't clean all the rooms at once can they, a little bit of extra time would have been appreciated, the room we had was tried and furniture fabric was stained more

The Moonlight Bay has some good points, though: 1. It's close to Matso's brewery and cafe - fabulous. 2. You can see the staircase to the moon (dry season) from there. 3. It's in town, rather than out at Cable Beach like many resorts - so you can walk if necessary (and temperature/humidity permitting). 4. It has pretty good security. more

While the suites are clean and functional, the sofa covering was very stained and needed dry cleaning or replacing. Rooms were cleaned daily however, by a very efficient cleaning staff.
