Pretty much a fancy bush campaign site. There is toilet showers- but very basic. Beautiful coastline and beach in front of the campground. Please note that the dirt road down to the station can be quite bad

We stayed at an unpowered site which was a good size. Road in was interesting but seen lots worse. We are self contained so the somewhat primitive showers didn't worry us. But having real toilets is a bonus. People whinge but honestly what do you expect for $8 each a night. Sun didn't come out much when we were there... More

Great beach. However road (or sand track which is a better description) could really do with a proper grader going over it. The facilities are in much need of an upgrade and the power supply tripped out when using an electric kettle. I would suggest going for the unpowered sites as in the peak period you are unable to use... More

Approximately 9km down a corrugated red dirt road 120km south of Broome you will find Barn Hill. The beach and views from the park are both excellent. Great swimming and fishing beach with lots of shells for beach combing. The sunsets are stunning. Unfortunately for me that's where the good stuff started to whittle away. We stayed in the UNPOWERED... More

Barn Hill was recommended by other travellers and it didn't disappoint. Walks on the beach were wonderful, stunning views. The Sunday night roast dinner was a bit disappointing, the food was tasteless but we met and sat with some nice travellers so that made the experience enjoyable.

We have bush camped all over Australia and we love rustic living so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach is beautiful and secluded, very glad we stayed. Only issue is the price. Really disappointed that the rate is so excessive. We paid $49 for UNPOWERED for our family per night. We were charged $8 per child! So sad that... More

Very welcoming when we arrived. Great spot for relaxing. The beach is gorgeous with the contrast of the lovely white sand and red cliffs. Great beach for swimming. The biggest disappointment was that we could only stay one night. I hope to return and have an extended stay.

It's very much station stay so don't expect golden taps and murble bathroom but camp sites are spacious, some with amazing views, facilities basic but clean and we realy liked seeing stars during shower. BTW we had unpowered site so we didn't really expected water or facilities. Beach is like a picture, white sands and red cliffs. We ejoyed every... More

After a week in the expensive Broome we moved onto Barn Hill. Again a fabulous experience. Everyone is friendly and sites great with plenty of shade. Amenities opened air but clean and plenty of. The outlook and the beach is wonderful. Plenty of walks along beautiful beaches. Arrived on a Sunday and attended the Sunday Roast, friendly and entertainer made... More

The drive out to Barn Hill Station on its dirt road is certainly worth the effort. Only a small sign designates this wonderful iconic location. Situated on the cliffs 150kms south of Broome the Park appeals to all and sundry. The fishermen love the secluded location for their catches. The beach goers certainly enjoy the pristine waters and the kilometres... More
