We have just had a wonderful trip ending up in Broome. We got a fright at how expensive accommodation was. Fortunately at the Tourist Information a woman recommended a new back packers. We are older travellers so like some comforts. Beaches is in a great location 5 minutes fro Cable Beach.. We had our own room. Small but nicely done.... more

this place is great if you whant to chill out. we stayed in a double room with bathroom, nice, a bit overpriced but we knew it, it's broome...and the location is so good! 5 min to cable beach, awesome. the room was perfect! very, very clean and with brand new furniture. My stay was so bad I decided to post my first review (and I have travelled extensively.) The accommodation is actually reasonable, but it is ruined by the terrible, hostile reception staff. They were blatantly rude and unhelpful. Despite mostly being out and about, when we were at the accommodation they made us feel very unwelcome. more

Beaches of Broome is a modern hostel/resort well located within a five minute walk of Cable Beach. It's also close to a bus stop for trips into town. Nothing comes cheaper in Broome, so I beleve that Beaches of Broome it's actually a backpakers accommodation (and not only) with a resort look a like! I've stayed a couple of nights in a backpakers "in town" and yes it was sligtly cheaper but nothing compare to Beaches.
