Upon arrival, you might be disappointed with what you see. The exterior of the building certainly does have an odd look about it. Stayed in worse but have stayed in better, single beds were pretty skinny+a little uncomfortable, can get a bit loud not very well sound proofed but it didn't bother me at all as i quite like listening to the goings on at night...but it could be a problem for other stayers...overall no major issues

This hotel is good value for money but whatever you do, bring your earplugs. It is unbelievable noisy in the rooms that front onto Swanston St. I suggest requesting a room at the back of building.
