I booked 2 x 2 bedroom apartments for my family for the weekend, the location was great, walking distance to the casino and public transport. Unfortunately my first impression of the apartment was disappointing as the room smelt mouldy, not very welcoming... although it was well appointed. My next disappointment was the singles beds pushed together to create a kingsize... More

This is the place to stay if you are happy with personal items disappearing from your room. After the disappearance of a $250 electric shaver, the desk clerk was notified (4 times over the 2-week period of our stay. Each time I was promised that the manager would contact me. I never heard from him/her. He/she did not reply to... More

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with family in May 2011. This apartment was very comfortable, both my mother and grandmother found it easy to move around and had enough room for all luggage and purchases bought on the trip. We stayed for 3 nights and found the location perfect for easy access to the city and to the... More

I was a leader of an elderly group of Probas women, on a visit to melbourne from morrinsville New Zealand to visit the annual flower show, and the sites of melbourne for 4 days. This is one of only a few that can have 4 single beds in a two bedroom unit, and we had 3 of these. From the moment... More

Good: - Location was good. Just in the city fringe, it was close to a tram stop for trams going into town. Close to Crown Casino. - Comfortable apartment with full amenities. - Helpful enough staff. We requested for the single beds in 2nd room to be joined together as they will come as 2 single beds unless you request... More

We stayed here last weekend for Cox Plate races, we booked the 3 bedroom apartment for 6 girls, we have stayed at the Meriton in Sydney previously and have loved it, unfortunately the Plum Apartments didn't compare. The rooms were small, there was 4 single beds and 1 double bed, the single beds were the smallest single beds i have... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a baby and toddler, had enough space and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. If i had to pick a negative, it would be the road noise - very loud and continuous until about 2am then noisy again from about 5am!! Apparently this is common with Melbourne hotels and with great... We just stayed at Plum a few days ago. Once we found it we were reasonably happy. Its a very secure building and some staff were helpful . It was an easy walk to the CBD or shops in South Melbourne. The apartment itself was really nice- the decor was fantastic and a great layout. The only real issue was... More

I was here a few days ago and I loved this place. I wish i could live in a place like that. It looks exactly what pictures look like. and the construction was still going on but I didn't hear any noises at all. but then our apt was facing the freeway (which was beautiful). we made ourselves very comfortable.... We had a room on the ninth floor and had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment doubtless due to the occupant declining the room for a quieter location.Facilities are great as is the location but it was not pleasant to be awakened at 6.15am by workers pouring concrete in the adjoining construction and to have a quiet coffee and...
