The space in the room was very limited so it was difficult with a few suitcases, but it was a comfortable stay as we were only there to sleep. The location, on Elizabeth St, is very good - close to many shops and restaurants in the city.

The staff won't help you if you leave anything in your room. Consider it gone. They either sell it or throw it in the trash, seems my suit jacket went into a plastic bag and they got defensive and angry when I politely asked to see it. I should have called the police, since the jacket contained a boarding pass... More

This is no luxury establishment, and that's fine. If you want luxury, it comes with a price tag. And for the price tag that comes with this I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, there were marks on the wall. Yes, there was some minor noise from the garbage trucks at night. Yes, the room was small. BUT if you're really the... More

Only stayed one Friday night, very popular accommodation right in the centre of city. Tram across road and walk to Flinders st. Station and Federation Square. Comfortable clean room, nothing flash but if you're going out or visiting for one of the many events that Melbourne hosts then you couldn't ask for anything more convenient.Security work the door on weekends... This hotel is centrally located and a good option if you are a budget traveller. As part of Accor its clean and tidy if a little dated. Facilities are basic (no safe, mini bar etc) but that ok for a short stay. Plenty of dining options nearby, trams a plenty and Flinders St around the corner.

Stayed there during the Australian Open time. Overall, it was clean, nice and tidy. However, the hotel reception service was poorly staffed. Other than that it was a alright hotel for people who are just out and about. The shower area could be improved not just a curtain lol Suggestion for traveller: stay with someone you feel comfortable with otherwise... More

I've staye and lived in a lot of dives - and if you know that's what you are getting into, it's fine. But every comment made by the manager on this site in response to concerns made it seem like this hotel though tired, still held itself to the standards I'd expect from the Accor Group. For example in response... More
