My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and are surprised it doesn't have that many reviews on TripAdvisor. I would most definitely recommend this place when staying in Melbourne. It is a 15 minute walk to the city or short tram ride (tram is less than 2 minutes from hotel). It is very clean, has pool/sauna and... More

The apartment was amazing with double aspect Windows. Great view to the harbour. Fantastic restaurants along the boardwalk as well as harbour town and the Melbourne star all within walking distance. Tram stop right outside. Would definitely reccommend.

Grand mercure is perfectly located to allow you to go anywhere walking or on a free tram. Make sure you get a place with a view. City view or water view. Either is great. Whatever comes cheaper. Be careful using balcony. You can be heard by lots of others. Have private conversations or evening chats indoors with doors shut.

We were lucky to stay on the 22nd floor and had the most amazing views. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Yes you have to check in at the Sebel and then they tell you which apartment you are in, but this is not an issue as the accommodation is across the road and you still have 24 hour... More

It was the most spectacular room with a view of the Fire Works. The whole stay was the most relaxing stay for the couple of days. Handy to everything. Walking along the pier getting meals and drinks, or staying on the balcony just relaxing seeing the scenery. Have recommended to many friends.

The apartment at docklands was fine - it had all the basic amenities without offering anything extra. As a serviced apartment, no breakfast buffet was offered however there were several good breakfast places nearby and some nice dinner options. Note that docklands is pretty dead at night although only a short tramride into the city (trams within the city circle... More

Pleasantly surprised at the level of luxury at this apartment. Everything you could possibly need. Indoor swimming pool and gym if you wanted to use it. Close to the harbour and restaurants. Local supermarket right next door and breakfast available to be delivered to the apartment if you so wished, although a tad expensive. Staff pleasant and on hand 24... More

We usually stay right in the city at Grand Mercure Swanston but decided to spend our last night just out of it to make driving easier on our morning of departure. The Grand Mercure Docklands proved to be a great choice. Our modern, stylish one bedroom apartment was well-equipped, clean and very comfortable. The full size fridge, oven and gas... More

I stayed with a girlfriend one weekend and we each had our own bed and ensuite plus small kitchenette. Well positioned on the boardwalk at the Docklands and close to the tram stop. Only a stones throw from Ettihad Stadium and Southern Cross station. No breakfast included. Very new.
