I always research my accommodation beforehand, and this hotel clearly stated that the nightclub was very loud when operating. I stayed 3 nights, including a Saturday night. I was on the fourth floor, and while I was aware of the noise, it didn't worry me, and if it had, I came prepared with earplugs. The room was as I expected,... More

Whilst the room was adequate and staff polite, the bar had exceptionally loud music until around 4.30 in the morning - so loud it was virtually impossible to sleep, and as we found out upon checking despite the fact there was only one person in the bar. There was also a water saver kettle with inadequate instructions, resulting in a... More

The only thing this hotel has going for it is location - Queen Street a few blocks from Southern Cross Station. Grumpy front desk staff. Terrible mattress. Paid high room upgrade fee and couldn't see for what. Upon checkout, every restaurant meal was double billed and had to argue to get it fixed. Facilitated workshop in the affiliated Karstens facilities... More

I think when it comes to hotel reviews people can be super picky, ive stayed in some dodgy places around the world and the citiclub isnt on of them. I got in early before check in, nothing they could do for me but did hold my bags. Eventually did let me check in around 12.30. I got a room on... More

Location is great. Central to most attractions, easy walking as its in the business district part of town. Not flash but clean and always a really reasonable price which includes brekky in nearby cafe in the rate. This is a "pit stop" not an occasion hotel. So if you are going to the footy or a concert and don't want... More

The Citiclub hotel is a budget hotel on Queen Street in Melbourne. As I stayed here on a Tuesday night and there wasn't any noise from the night club - something many other guest complain on. The room size is not bad but I wouldn't stay here longer than one night though. The bed was also OK but I don't... More

Hotel itself is ok, but the noise from the nightclub is unbelievable (and we were on top floor!) and goes on until 5:30am. I'm talking windows shaking loud. Simply shouldnt be allowed to have a hotel with no soundproofing above a club like that. Totally ruined our weekend.

The room is basic, clean. Bed is pretty below par as far as comfort, as is the couch, but bathroom is reasonably spacious and room isn't too small. Don't like the location and the nightclub is a tad offputting. They will do a $100 pre-auth on your credit card (was expecting as I work in a motel) and from the... More

CitiClub hotel is a fairly basic hotel in Queen St, Melbourne and is quite expensive for its type. The room was small but reasonable with OK bed quality, reasonable bathroom with usual inclusions such as safe and iron. Breakfast was included from a souvenir cafe next door and is basic but OK, filtered coffee, bread, some hot dishes, cereals and... More
