The room was pleasant and very clean. Housekeeping excellent.. Very good value for money. I chose it because it is near to the Exhibition Centre. The staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended more

We booked 2 studio rooms at Oaks on Collins through wotif.com. It was actually a mystery deal but we managed to work out the hotel prior to booking. We paid $112 per night so really weren't expecting much, but oh my god! We arrived at 6.30am and had booked 1 of the rooms for the previous night so that we... more

On opening the door to my studio apartment at Oaks on Collins I was horrified to find that THERE ARE NO WINDOWS. Surely it is not unreasonable to assume that a hotel room one has booked and paid for will have, without it being listed on the website, a floor, walls, a ceiling, a door and one or two windows.... more

Loved it here! Last time I spent a fortune on the Rendezous which I hated. This was a fantastic deal on wotif (mystery) we paid $112 per night. Rooms were extremely, extemely clean, staff helpful and great location. The rooms really impressed me- very spacious for Melbourne. If it is cool weather I would ask for a room with no... more

I booked this hotel for my Birthday as my partner and I had planned to go to a bar on Collins St and thought staying in the City was a convenient option. I do travel for work, so have stayed in many hotels and after booking this hotel thru 'Wotif', I read some very average reviwes. I did become comcerned... more

I would rate this place higher except that i know that there are better hotels/apartments available on a similar budget in the vicinity. The studios are quite compact and the bathroom is very very small with a translucent wall/door. To illustrate this I was brushing my teeth before heading out for the night. I bent over to look under the... more

This hotel is in a fantastic location. We got a great deal on Wotif. Very close to DFO and city shops with endless places nearby to eat at. The modern room itself was tastefully decorated and very clean. The bathroom could be better but overall us girls were very happy and would stay here again! more

Overall the size of the room was suprisingly small (studio executive). The tiny bathroom was behind a sliding glass door that resembled a closet. Nowhere to put a toiletry bag or even a shelf to rest your toothbrush when rinsing your mouth. After washing my face from the wash basin, the floor was covered in water, likewise after showering the... more

We booked for a 9 night stay. On arrival were told we had an internal room, no window. Were told we would have to pay an extra $15 a night to upgrade. At the price we were paying thought that a bit over the top. After 3 nights in this room we were feeling clastrophobic so requested an upgrade and were... more
