me and my friend stayed at this hostel for around 4 weeks between Jan- Feb 2012. The hostel it's self is above average. The rooms were cleaned every day and so were the bathrooms. The kitchen is tiny, and therefore we tried to cook when others were not using it. As there is no common room area except the bar... More

Dear lunalovegood17, Thank you for your positive feedback, it's great to hear from you. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us and Melbourne. I have noted the areas of concern and you will be happy to know that we are in the process of converting another area of ours into a common area. I'm happy you enjoyed the pasta... More

Location is good. Full of young backpackers. The bar is opened at 7.30am (!!!) and the best thing is they offered free drinks at about happy hour (soft drinks), and also they allow you to consume rice and pasta and tea and coffee in the kitchen (though I did not use them)! There are large TVs in the bar and... More

This place is so noisy that you can't even hear the people talking to you at the reception when you check in. There is a bar area that during morning and day time also act as a lounge for breakfast/lunch and dinner. Not the cleanest place to eat at all. I did not really use the kitchen for the same... More
