A decent hostel! Very good bar and nightlife and very basic dorms/accommodation. Good travel shop, mad travel. Booked some tours with them which worked out cheaper that other tour companies. The location is ok, near to Victoria market but a bit further out than most

When me and my friend got to nomads we thought the staff were nice, location was ideal but the cleanliness was not the best! The kitchen is a pain to cook in and food gets stolen all the time. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it, there is a nice enough cinema room and and always stuff to do... More

We stayed 2 nights and we have stayed in many hotels in the past This place for me ranked as the worst hotel/motel we have stayed. Steer away if you can. The service is just terrible. The elevator does not work with the card they give you and neither does the entrance to the motel room. We will not stay... More

I didn't know how terrible was this place! I had booked 7 nights but I left of the place at the second night. DIRTY PLACE! DIRTY PEOPLE! DISGUSTING! The elevador its just for 3 people with 4 enter together the elevator falls down! This backpacker its too expensive and terrible service! I prefer lost all of my money ($200) than... More

Nomads seem to have a good reputation which made me stay at Nomads Melbourne. I wish I had chosen differently. The staff is just too busy enjoining themselves, flirting with each other, fighting with one another, even making out behind reception while I was waiting (maybe kiss and make up...?), instead of helping guests. Of course I want staff to... More

Thank you very much sharing your experience and I’m sorry to hear we could not live up to what we promised. It particularly upsets me that staff has been the source of your dissatisfaction with us as we have always been fond of providing a responsive and helpful customer service. This is an issue I will definitely address and resolve... More

Maybe it's just a breath of fresh air after my last hostel which was awful but the place is clean and tidy rooms are spacious. The staff couldn't be more helpful weather it's booking trips or asking for directions. Always entertainment in the evenings. The only small problem I had was the kitchen, which was small (however being centrally located... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Apologies for the small kitchen, we have already spaced it out as much as we could and equip it in any possible way though it does get crowded at peak hours especially. Hope we see you again during your next visit to Melbourne! :) More

I arrived into Melbourne very late in the evening and the lovely guy on reception was very helpful in checking me into my room. The location of the hostel is super convenient and the room itself was very clean, modern and very spacious. There is an awesome bar in the hostel and they have a funky outdoor area where you... I stayed here twice, both in 6 bed dorms. Clean dorms and good location. The showers were clean with plenty of space to get dressed and hang ur stuff. Only down side is the size of the kitchen in comparison to the size of the hostel. Its not a major as plenty of scrummy food in Melbourne.

I loved this hostel! The location is great - so close to the Queen Victoria Markets, you can just walk around the corner every morning to have breakfast! Upon check-in we were welcomed by a friendly and helpful staff member called Mitchell who checked us straight into a clean and modern room. My parents came to visit me at the... More

NOMADS MELBOURNE I spent three nights in this hostel in April, from this experience I will avoid staying here in the future. Whilst the hostel is clean and modern with a lively bar on the ground floor, the staff, kitchen and lack of warm water really let's it down. It took over 30 minuets to check in as the staff... More

Hi Emma, thank you for taking the time to review our hostel. This is surely not the experience we try to cater to our guests and I apologize for having let you down.
